I'm just pissed because heyp scared moes off and now we're probably not going to hear what happened until fatty makes it briefly back on the board.

Although I understand RM95's logic my experience with having my girlfriend insulted required no such explanation. FFB was extraordinarily and directly insulting toward her in a way that, had it happened in real life, I might have been compelled by chivalry to respond with violence myself. This was, in fact, one of the myriad occasions on which he's been banned for the controversial and belligerent behavior of which he is so clearly proud.

When someone is banned that often, for callous, unthinking and often bizarre insults, it is not difficult to imagine that personality would carry over into real life and provoke real life consequences. This is not just theory; Jim has told us many times of such situations. He is proud of them.

You are going overboard as usual in your zest to blast me and Groogrux for what were relatively benign posts given his history. We both said we were sorry it happened and were glad he was okay. We also said we were not surprised. No one who reads this board would be. If he were seriously injured I know that my already temperate remarks would have been further tempered, but he wasn't. The pics make him look like he has a rash, not like he was in a fight for his life.

It is difficult to imagine that someone that prides himself so much on acerbic provocation would be offended in any way that someone would support his favorite myth about himself: that he tears **** up.

    You're being silly here.

Just keeping the thread alive .

But it's difficult because your post is too reasonable. I was hoping for more .

I believe it was a bit more than "scraped". While the wound fortunately does not look too big, this definitely looks scary. The other guy was arrested by the police, FFB was not. So I think people should not rush to judgment about whose fault this was.

I have been in contact with FFB and he allowed me to post this picture:

He also says (and I agree) that we don't like the comments about 39 year olds going out.

I agree with that, and I think that's maybe something BJ and Groogrux could also agree on.

    Peace?

ATW- Some of the guys here razzing FFB is similar to the way that you used to chase MacBeth around eh? MacBeth was similar to FFB in that they are both purposefully jackassey. We get it, they like it. It makes the board interesting..

Anyway, if FFB can provide third party witness statements along with a notarized affadavit that proves that is indeed real blood on his shirt, then I will recant my "scrape" reference....

*Not really, I recant it, that looks like decent amount of blood.

What this thread needs is more in-depth analysis of the posts in this thread and the motives of the actors involved...and fewer cheap one-liners.

Fatty street cred. I wish I was him. Minus the alcoholism and stab wounds.

I was in a hurry this morning to get ready to take care of some business so I wasn't able to elaborate on my first post in this thread.

As mentioned before, I am glad that FFB is okay. No matter what he has said or done to me and my family does not make it okay for me to wish bodily harm on the guy. I can see where Batman and RM95 are coming from because the last time that Fatty posted here, he was blasting me and my "broad of a" wife and also telling me how his doctor friends found his lack of a "filter" refreshing.

We all know that in this little secret sanctuary from the outside world, we can take refuge and form friendships and camaraderie with others. Here on Clutchfans, we don't have to deal with hardass bosses, annoying co-workers, b****y spouses/boyfriends or girlfriends, etc. We do on occasion have to deal with characters like FFB but they are few and far between. Maybe that is why people enjoy threads like these so much because it reminds us of our real life but we might have more control over the outcome than we would in an encounter with our boss, loved one, friend, etc.

I understand that Fatty prides himself as someone who acts in real life the same way he does here. Yet, I have pointed out to him many times, that what you might say behind a keyboard is vastly different that saying the same thing in person. I'm glad he is okay, but I hope it serves him as a severe wake-up call that he has got to change some things in his life.

AroundtheWorld/Jackie - I think a lot of you but you are coming across as one of those people who is easily offended by things that are so inane and benign that it is just making you look bad or a troublemaker. You are better than that, as a poster and as a person. I am pretty sure that no one here is happy to see Fatty get hurt, but people aren't going to take to it kindly that you are wanting to censor their thoughts on the matter. Are some of the comments a little insensitive? Probably, but you're making a big deal about it is getting over the top.

It's too bad Fatty doesn't have a filter to soak up all that blood on his shirt.

I understand he found that camera he's using at a girl scout camp?

It also explains why doctors like his lack of filter so much...job security. If he had a good filter he wouldn't need so many stitches. Or b****es.

I think it is funny that Fatty is responding to the thread and "authorizing" pictures and stories be told about him. Funny in a sad way.
