That's how Wade and LeBron's PER compare for the entire playoff. LeBron nuthuggers are trying to argue LeBron's the man for 3 series, let's get the credit where it's due. This is Wade's team, not LeBron's. When Wade didn't play like a superstar first time in the finals, Heat couldn't even get close. http://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/MIA/2011.html
it's best to use stats if you know how to use them. wade's PER in the finals before game 6 was 40.75 = he was superman in this series and the heat were still behind. this was the first series lebron didn't outplay wade. the other 3 series, lebron was superior on both ends and the heat won 4-1 each. the heat go as lebron goes. lebron sucks = heat lose and to use your argument, gasol had a 22.9 PER in the playoffs last year, kobe had a 21.9. c'mon now.
Gasol was a bigman and he didn't need to force the issue on offense side. That's why he's more efficient. Kobe has to do it if they don't get an easy shot early. And Kobe scored way more points than Gasol. If you look at Wade and LeBron, the two are both wing players and play the same style. I don't know how you can argue LeBron's the man when Wade outscored him as well. And don't forget Wade had 30/.52 in ECSF vs. LeBron's 28/.47, Wade outplayed LeBron in ECSF as well.
Wade played better against Boston (quite a fair bit for the most part), they were about on par against Philly, James played better against Chicago.
Duuude, This post is really offensive to LeBron Worshipers. You are offending a religion which is very well represented on Clutchfans. While I realize that you have freedom of speech, I do feel that this attack on a religion is a hate crime. Please apologize to the LeBron Worshipers and use spoilers in the future when you choose to offend them.
