More important TEAM concept, Miami players were really faster and stronger, but Dallas was more of a team, and his players had higher BASKETBALL IQ. I don't know why BBIQ is still soo underrated in NBA and most fans get in love with jumping superathletes that lack the brains.
The team does needs legit height at the C both starting and coming off the bench(7footers). The rest of the team is set PF Scola, Patterson, G Lowry/Dragic SG Martin, Lee, SF Budinger, TWill.
LMAO. Monta is a core player in GS. Brook is a core player in NJ. Dalembert is expensive. Tayshaun is done. And we happen to get all this by only sacrificing Scola and Kevin Martin. And scrubs in Hasheem and an unproven Williams. Very funny dude.
Indeed. Also, he is by far the most likely player to come to the Rockets. Sure, that likelihood is still just something like 0.1%, but it's still higher than any other possibility.
LOL, "we're so close," "we just need an ALL TIME GREAT player and a LOCKDOWN DEFENSIVE CENTER." Yeah, so close
AlexKennedyNBA Tyson Chandler said he wants to return to DAL next year. He joked that he'll try to get more money out of Cuban tonight since he's drinking.
This proves you don't know anything about basketball Monte Ellis is a deadly shooter who can dash and slice to the basket and could pass. Brook Lopez is the second best center in the league right now, he could score in the post, kick out to shooters like lee and CBud. He and Ellis could be a very good outside inside players but we have to wait till next season to get him. Isn't Dalembert a free agent this summer, what if rockets could get him cheaper than what was his original contract was. Really prince is done. You know his only 31. He averaged 14 a game and he brings experience to this team.
Actually, it's much harder to find players that are smart enough to even be able to play basketball correctly, than it is to find a bunch of guys that can run and jump. The hardest thing is to find guys that can run and jump and that the NBA refs will allow them to travel and palm the ball every time they touch it (Wade, James, Rose, etc.) You have to be on Stern's good side to get one of those.
Monta is also pretty inefficient, and a bad defender - and will probably take up more cap space than he's worth. Lopez definitely took a step backwards this year. That being said, they are obviously pretty good players. I just don't think they will be worth the $$ I think the grass is greener sometimes on the other side.
