If they hire Adelman, this team will become a dynasty.

They could have won the finals if Spoelstra knew how to make adjustments on the fly. He is TOO inexperienced. You have LeBron, Wade, and Bosh. Get a good coach that knows how to use these tools.

The team has holes, that no coach can cover, no decent club would fire a coach who's got them to the finals, Riley is better then that.
Miami took the Mav's to 7 games, lost by 2-3 most games, so it was as close as you could get. They need to improve their Off sets during the pre season, and fill some holes.

    Absolutely.

He was terribly out coached in the finals.

He has relied on talent to get by and when required to play the chess game, he failed miserably.

Riley said all along it was a 2 year plan, I don't think he even expected to make the finals in year 1, maybe the ECSF/F

Agree, its what Riley said, and what Heat have been saying all year.
They need to fill the PG and Center spot, but the fact they made it this far, means they will be contenders for the next 5-6 years.

I guarantee you not even Riley could have imagined that Lebron would have sucked this bad in the finals.

Spoelstra started Bibby for way too long. Once Carlisle put Barea into the starting lineup (genius genius move), Bibby was toast.

In the finals yes, but he played well against Celtics and Bulls to get them that far. Dallas just played great D on him, I haven't seen Lebron play that bad in a long time myself.

I would fire him. Its no different than fitch and kc jones or collins and jackson. He should've pulled bibby after game 3 like carisle did with stevenson.

I can't give Spoelstra much respect based on the Finals. Carlisle blew him away. But firing him would be a panic move that would destabilize the Heat. They need to improve their PG & C positions and try again.

Pin the tail on LeBron too.

Just get Ricky Adelman in there. If that happens, almost guranteed ring.

If they do hire RA, I will actually support them despite my whatever hatred for Lebron, I want Rick to get a ring.

Finals is when the best of the best shine.

The fact that he is hailed as the best player in the league and he sucked so bad in the biggest stage of basketball takes away what he did before then.

In short, he pulled a David Robinson.

Heat werent playing as a TEAM, until the end they decide to pass the rock, just like the Lakers with Gasol. And I said this the first season game I saw from the heat. Spo can't coach for **** like most out there

Give this team some shooters and Adelman and he will make it the most potent team on offense in the league history.

Spolstra mismanaged LeBron's minutes throughout the course of the series. He also failed to light a fire under LeBron's ass in the 4th. I just feel like the guy is beyond coaching now. He's set in his ways. Feel free to prove me wrong, but I feel like the guy just never met a coach who would stare him in the face and tell him whats up. I swear, if Kobe never found Phil this is how Kobe would be. He should consider himself very lucky that the Lakers put forth the right stuff around him (coaching and development wise)...
