heat take a fantastic playoff run and just throw it in the garbage with 4th quarter play, which was how they won the first 3 series. embarrassing. lebron can never get this series back. he'd have to win 6 to make this sort of go away. it almost seems like it would have been more acceptable to lose to boston or chicago. then people would have understood they were flawed. but they somehow hid those flaws just long enough to expose them again in the finals. this was the year to win it all with a straight up awful supporting cast and prove their greatness. now they have come up as mental midgets. and wade should be embarrassed as well. except for a couple of jumpers in game 3, he did nothing to stop these runs either.

and somehow dirk can miss every shot he takes and then never miss in the 4th quarter. just unbelievable. now the pendulum has swung and it's like the 2006/2007 playoffs never happened for his legacy. dallas maximized their wins in this series like maybe no team i've ever seen.

they get incredible runs to win games they should lose. then they save up their 2 incredible shooting games for the only 2 games where the heat actually had some offense going. it was like they could have mismatched their good games and maybe miami is still playing. but when a team just has your number to the Nth degree and doesn't miss a backbreaking shot you can't do much.

maybe this is what it felt like to go against the 1995 rockets. mario elie can't miss? wtf. kenny smith has 7 3's? wtf. who the hell is sam cassell? so hakeem's just going to make that shot? really?

should've put money on the mavs to at least get something out of this.

This is why I went for the Lakers.

Not like we can ever claim being a better franchise than them anyways.

Now the Mavs will get a bunch of bandwagon vets and get Roddy B and Caron Butler back. They CAN do this again.

Had they went out in flames to the Lakers who knows? Maybe Kidd retires maybe they make a trade to shake things up...

Is this really the lesson? They take 3 stars that come together in less than a season and almost go the distance. If anything they're proving that talent is just about enough. They've got 2 superstars, a star and garbage. Three players basically took that team to the Finals.

I think he has to be number 2. I can't put Barkley and Malone ahead of him after this playoff run.

Can't hate Bosh for actually giving a damn about losing. He actually played well this series. Probably didn't get the ball enough.

Exactly. We'll be hearing this for years. One thing I can always hold up about the Rockets was that we had championships and Dallas were the chokers. Now, they've won one and Rockets are stuck on mediocrity treadmill.

Really? Miami mad the finals, I'm happy, happier if they won of course, but how long have the rockers waited to get in the finals, or other teams?
It doesn't happen very often, so I've enjoyed it while it lasted.

This is true. Because people would have just said "The Chemistry wasn't there" but Lebron did not look hot in the finals and unlike Kobe he wasn't going against a all-time great defense like the Pistons or Cavs.

So far right now, this is a stain on his legacy. He still has a bunch of time to make up for it though.

No. It is not going to suck tomorrow. If anything, Cuban has been finally vindicated for spending high dollars for free agents and trades. It finally paid off big time.
