i missed the entire last season, i heard the shakeweight epi was hilarious though. any others i should watch specifically?

I've liked the last few episodes as well. Last night with the japanese vs. chinese and Butters with multiple personality disorder. Funny stuff.
Wow... What was that? Are Matt and Trey done with SP? Terrence and Phillip makes sense to me now. From our point of view, humor appealing to children is just fart jokes.
Hmmmmm, like the episode from the critic standpoint about what the series has became. Very great questioning the humor of both the producders and the audience. Have to wait til October for the 2nd part of the season to see how it turns out, wouldn't be surprised if today's episode is the beginning of a drastic change to maturity, maybe even the near end of South Park.

Their musical "Book of Mormon" has been a Broadway hit getting sensational rave reviews and favored to sweep the Tony Awards. I have a feeling their losing interest in the show quick with the attention they're getting in Broadway and I know satirical comedy musicals on a large scale have always been a passion of theirs. I saw them on Letterman a few weeks ago and he asked them if doing the show was still fun and they both said "no, it's work". And yeah their contract for the show is over after this season, so I think it's over..

I just checked on the southparkstudios boards, apparently the guys who run that site have been running around under the assumption that seasons 16 & 17 are in the bag, but nothing official has been announced yet. I think the last episode threw everybody over there for a loop, everyone is panicking and questioning if the 2013 contract extension is going to get signed at all now. I kind of hope they end it this year and start a new project.
