With a good balance of graphics, economics, and combat?

Ones where you get to manage huge places, lots of various resources, armies, and yet is still satisfying in terms of graphics & combat.

Can't seem to find one. Help is much appreciated, thanks.

Eh, you might want to try Civ V, if I understand the request.

Civ is the pretty obvious choice, I used to love me some Age of Empire back in the day.

Just to be clear, so you don't blow $40, in civ V you control an empire, it's addicting as hell but games take ahile to finish, it's for PC, and while you control troop movmeent and military strategy, you don't get to do any personal fighting.

Valkyria Chronicles for PS3 has the player managing an army, but not cities.

Gameplay is somewhat similar to the Ogre Battle games except you have more control over each soldier in your army during battle.

This is probably the best game I have played in the past 3 years.

    Civ IV is better imo.

Also check out Rise of Nations (a real-time Civ) and Anno 1404. If you like sci-fi, X3: Terran Conflict and Freelancer. The latter is freakin complex as hell, but satisfying when you go from a tiny ship to a universe-spanning empire.

Except it's considered one of the best games in this console generation.

You might want to look at Civ 4- it's a more polished game and you can get it for under $10.

That and X-Com: The UFO Defense (yeah, awful graphics, but second-to-none resource management and strategic combat).

Good for you, and that's your (gay) opinion.

That's just because you're not used to the anime style and making an ignorant statement based on that.

But actually the game has some of the most unique and best graphics and stylization ever on a console. Its like a highly detailed and glossed watercolor picture in motion.

But from what I have seen from your posts, you seem like a racist and snarky punk
