Why would we want Chris Kaman?
We just got rid of our experienced coach, partly to bring in a new coach who would help develope our younger talent and get them more playing time... thats what the party line was right?

We bring Kevin McHale here to help coach up Jordan Hill, Paterson, and whoever we get in the draft.... Kaman could have possibly pushed us into the playoffs last year... but you bring in a guy like him now and you can basically split minutes between him and Hayes at the center and we say goodbye to Jordan Hill and anything he could possibly be.

If Kaman is the answer, I have no idea what the question was. He's like a big slow mutant Dirk. And he can't f'ing stop Yao.

How is rolling the dice on Kaman any different than rolling the dice on Yao again? They are both going to be relatively cheap for true big men. Both have obvious health issue. While Kamans aren't as severe, he's equally less talented.

We are obviously going young. We can bring in a vet without bringing in an old, broken down vet.

In fairness to Kaveman, there are a whole lot of players in the NBA that cant stop a healthy yao.

True, but the rest of the NBA doesn't need to stop Yao or Kaman, because a "healthy" Yao hasn't been spotted for 2 years. A "healthy" Kaman is becoming more uncommon, also.
