    Did you see VC.

I don't think Vince Carter was as fast or strong as Lebron though.

Are we talking about watching a game live in person?

    If so, Hakeem.

distant seconds: MerGady, Franchise, Duncan, RyBo, Robinson...

    aahahahahaha. Flyin Ryan Bowen, huh?

I'm only 24, but I think D Rose deserves a bit of love in this thread.

    for PGs,
    Nate Robinson
    Steve Francis
    Derrick Rose
    Rajon Rondo (quickness)

    for swings,
    VINCE CARTER
    MJ
    LBJ
    Wade
    T-Mac
Gino (his ability to control his body in the air is crazy)
    Younger Marion
Younger Kobe (though he probably isn't as much as an athletic freak as the other guys on the list, he is just really hardworking)

    For bigmen,
    Dwight Howard
    Blake Griffin
    Younger Antonio McDyess
    Younger Shawn Kemp
    Dream
    Amare

Probably a bunch which I am missing. Those are just the most athletically gifted I have seen personally.

    Shaq
    LeBron James

Men of their size should not be doing what they are doing.

    Live in person.

    Tracy McGrady
    Blake Griffin
    Chris Paul
    Carmelo Anthony
    Chris Anderson (Bird Man)

Been to only a few Rockets games in Houston. Been to a ton of Rockets vs. Spurs games in San Antonio and there is no one on the Spurs with amazing athleticism.

I think Battier summed it up best when he said Lebron bigger than Ray Lewis, fast as Chad Johnson and could jump as high as whoever, etc... something along those lines. A lot of the guys y'all are naming are explosive or can jump high, but I wouldn't consider them freak athletes.

I don't know Tony Parker (speed wise)

Both are retired, but Brent Barry and Michael Finley were both very athletic guys in their youth.

This. By most gifted I'm assuming the OP is refering to all the dimensions of athleticism, not who had the highest vertical or could catch tbe best alley oops.

That's why I wouldn't count Kemp. As athletic as he was, he didn't have the coordination to be a solid shooter and ball handler. To be the most gift you should be able to show you can learn movements and polish them, so they're solid. I think it's hard to include many guys taller than 6'8 ish because their bodies start to get too big to control very well.

Lebron is certainly up there. The rockets trainer once said Maxwell had more athleticism than MJ and I think i believe him, he'd be up there too, despite not having a mind blowing vertical. Rose is another one. These guys have speed, strength, coordination, explosion, fluidity, etc. Dream as well. Possibly Ray Allen.

    vince carter.

that guy was an athletic freak. if people thought what lebron or blake griffin brought to the league in terms of hype in their first year was crazy, vince brought "vinsanity." the guy was playing on the raptors, and had them selling out road games in his rookie year.

Did you watch the initial video I posted of Kemps top dunks? About half of them are either him going coast to coast around 5 players, or taking 2 or 3 players to the hole from outside. What Kemp do you remember watching?
