This thread has gotten me so excited for a new logo that I started doing some research to learn a little more about how that process works. Apparently you have to file for a change way ahead of time. This article is really interesting and offers a bit of insight on the whole process for those as curious as me. http://www.slamonline.com/online/nba/2010/09/nba-team-logo-changes/
maybe making the white outlines thicker, thus making less yellow inside the ball? It was just too empty with all that white inside. I'm not good enough to do some smoke effect from the rocket. Though it would be yellow first and then the grey smoke right?
Like it or not, we're not red and yellow anymore. That's our alternate uni, basically an updated retro. We could go back to it, but that's not the team's current color scheme. We'd be changing from the current red-white-grey combination.
Damn thos unis are nice! But I cant help but say this is such a tease! I really want them to make some type of changes next season. Even if its smal tweaks. Do y'all really think this will happen? If not next year, how much longer?
as badass as some of these designs are, unfortunately, Rockets front office is gonna put some other garbage together when its time to revamp..
I'm sorry, but all these are terrible. I love the sentiment, but they have professional designers for a reason. No disrespect. Lots of work went into these mock ups. But seriously people.

Really? Where did you hear this? And is it the same logo if the text is changed and new objects/shapes are added? Is there a reason why every team keeps their logo but changes the colors and uses their secondary logo as basically their new logo on courts, jerseys, merchandise? Would we basically have to keep our logo and add a yellow outline and use that as our official primary(but more of an unofficial secondary), but then create a new secondary and use that as kind of like our unofficial primary to match our new digs and new court(think Wizards)?
I am speaking from an aesthetic point of view. Imagine if the Bulls made their bull blue. The yellow and red logo is meant to be yellow and red, not silver and red.
Thanks for your unwanted opinion I don't think people are posting mock-ups to please you, your highness. And I don't think people actually expect their designs to become the next unis. "Seriously."
Toby, is that you Al Gore? <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/h05YfP_8UsU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
This is the only thing on my mind now. =( I look at us, and were just not the same. It's just not the same. =(
