Dirk's response to Wade & LeBron's mockery of his sickness

I actually believe him.

It seems pretty obvious that he was making fun of the fact that the media blew up this story that Dirk was sick. He wasn't making fun of Dirk or hinting that Dirk may not have been sick.

 

Oh come on...I have no problem with players poking harmless fun at each other. Its not like any family members were mocked or any serious repercussions will result as a consequence of Wade and James actions. Take the situation for what it is; a joke.

 

I'm getting sick & tired of the media making 'Bron & Wade out to be some kind of subhuman supervillians. EVERYONE should be rooting for these guys.

 

If he admits to trolling the public, why defend his actions?

 

It's ok to make fun of Lebron personal problems such as the Delonte West and Gloria James story and the Rashard Lewis and Lebron fiance story but when it comes to Dirk....God forbid....such evil people would make fun a guy who is sick. STFU you hypocrites. The Heat are not the Yankee's. I just hope the people who are cheering for the Mavs on this board are just cheering against the Heat instead of actually supporting a Dallas based team.

Yeah, I mean he was definitely talking about the Dirk incident, so that was a pretty snide comment. But whatevs. I think he made a mistake with the original comment, and now he's paying for it -- he knows not to try to add anymore fuel to the Mavs fire.

From all the comments I've seen. They are cheering for a Dallas based team because:

a) They are from Texas. (So?!)
b) They have newfound respect for Dirk
c) They believe they are the lesser of two evils (even though the Rockets have absolutely no history with the Heat whatsoever)
d) They hate LeBron

If Miami would have won, media would talk about how Wade injured his hip so much, oh my god he had to go to the locker rooms, and then he came back, and won the game for his team, while he had serious pain.

he wanted to do his "Willis Reed moment" just like Paul Pierce did it on the finals.

even in the game they over did it showing while the game was going, all his walk from the locker rooms, till he seated in the bench with his team.

clippy has a point. The Heat are being portrayed as the big bad wolf, while the Mavs are the good guys trying to get a ring for Dirk (and Kidd) who's time is running out.

Kidd deserves a ring for his contributions to the game, but other than that he's a douche.

As for Wade, I think James is a bad influence on him. Sure Wade is older, but LeBron's spotlight is bigger.
