I've got one of those. It was my first automatic watch and definately very very cool. Though it was so clunky and big that I got tired of wearing it. A diver is just too much watch for everyday wear in my opinion. A word of caution, when you get the bracelet resized, go to a seiko dealer/trusted watch maker. I had mine adjusted by a jewelry store (costed me $15 none the less) and the person messed it up permanently. The link system is very different from typical watches so it's very easy to screw up if they don't know exactly what they're doing.
I'm have a bit of a watch fetish and I tend to buy a new watch everytime I go somewhere out of the country recently that I can't easily find here in the states to be different. Im into the more big face ones. 2 X Armani Watches Movado Esperanza (had it for a long time doesn't really fit my wrist size anymore (face is too small) Tissot Chronograph Louis Pion Chrono (French company that you can only get in france do not sell in the states) TW Steel Canteen Chrono (Dutch made watch just recently brought to the states, wasn't here when I bought mine)
Some kind of Seiko with a day and date that's broken (my fault). I've been thinking about getting a new one, but since it keeps time pretty well, I may just stick with it.
I picked up a nice Vacheron Constantin on Harwin for ten bucks. Guy swears it was real.............looks real to me.
I've been wearing an Invicta 8926 for a long time now (my first automatic) and it has been a tremendous value for me. Lately, I've been looking into a Hamilton. Heard very good things.
That's a pretty cool one. Nixon makes some really interesting watches which definitely get some attention.
No, because sometimes we want to at least pretend we're paying attention to the people present. Like in a meeting for example. So instead of fishing a phone out of my pockets, I just give my watch a quick glance. Seriously, anyone going "lol we gotz phones xD" is probably unemployed.
