    That be interesting, we could stash him overseas were he could still improve and get playing time during the lockout. Plus, he won't be taking PT from the other young bigs. If all of them are playing competitive ball at once, one is bound to turn out good.

    This would be a great pick if he slid that far.

    His offensive cons are his footwork and finishing with his left hand. Good offensive rebounder, free throw shooter, runs the floor well and excellent in pick and roll with setting screens and finishing.

    i would be ok with this. i can see why he would slide, but a guy can play 15 or so years. waiting 2 years to bring one over isn't a big deal at #14.

    Shares the same agent as Brooks and Brad Newley. Both Valanciunas and Newley played for Rytas this season.

    Him being available at 14 would make trading up less appealing.

    We have a pretty full roster. Stashing a guy like this overseas would be a nice use of this pick.

    We'd have a sick frontcout of him and Patterson, they'd be mopping up boards and blocking shots, it be great. Plus this kid can score.

    And he might not come over for the 2011-2012 season, meaning if the Rockets miss the playoffs again we'll keep our 1st rounder. I'd really like this pick.

    I would be excited if he dropped all the way to 14 and would hope Morey would snatch him up without a second thought.

    Especially with next year's draft class looking so deep we could easily fill up any holes with that pick, and having the advanatge that while everyone else's rookies are stuck waiting for the lockout to end, ours is still playing. This just keeps looking better and better.

    more likely is that some team takes V to trade him. the rockets might be able to "move up" by trading for him after he's drafted.
