    Let's not get carried away.

But yeah come on who needs to ask this question? Dirk's supporting cast has made a ton of big shots unlike Cleveland's supporting cast.

    1. Eastern Conference
    2. Come on dude. Jamison and Shaq are OBVIOUSLY past their primes.
    3. Mo Williams = overrated.

Dirk will never have LeBron's fantastic mother****ing supporting cast.

imo, this is all Lebron needed to win with that team. He is THAT talented and Mike Brown is a 1-dimensional coach.

Teams usually follow the lead of their star. I'm sure if Dirk had decided to quit like LBJ did against Boston in Game 5, it may have adversely affected the performance of the other Mavs.

Not sure why this is such a ridiculous question when the Cavs won more games than the Heat.

Past their primes/overrated or not, they did play well.

And Delonte/Big Z were good as well.

I'd take Dirk's but last year's Cavs were not as bad as people seem to think they are. This years Cavs was NOT LeBron's supporting cast (missing 3 starters in LBJ/Shaq/Delonte, missing another key piece in Z, injury problems to Mo Will/Jamison). To say they are "D-League Scrubs" is simply false.

Dirk played poorly with the flu and his supporting cast picked him up until he hit the game winning shot.

In Cleveland if Bron played poorly the Cavs were pretty much done.

Regular season records can be misleading. It's a lot easier to win games in the regular season with one superstar and a hard-working supporting cast just because you cant feast on the weaker teams.

I can't recall a single Cleveland player ever really stepping up in the playoffs the past two years. This year, Dallas has had Terry, Kidd, Barea, Marion, and Chandler all come up big at different times.

So you'd trade Williams, Shaq, and Antawn for Kidd, Butler, Marion, and Peja?

Don't worry, you don't have to put down LeBron to prop Kobe. He's doing ok without your campaign.

I didn't say anything about Kobe . Yeah I would do that trade. Bulter was useless for this playoff campaign and Peja was an unwanted free agent. Shaq Jamison and Mo Williams > Jason Kidd and Shawn Marion.

The theme of all of your posts here in the Dish has been to bash on MJ or LeBron, which is the standard MO of a Kobe fanboy. If I'm wrong, my apologies, but if it looks like a duck...

I think that trade is absurd. Last year Shaq was injured most of the time and was a shell of himself. He basically was retired seeing as he barely even played this year. Kidd > Mo and Marion > Antawn (I challenge you to find someone who argues otherwise). Yeah, Butler is injured, but he contributed to the season so he still counts. Also, the non-all stars on the Mavs are better than the equivalents on the Cavs. Chandler is probably the 2nd best player on the Mavs. And let's not get started with the coach.

I have no idea what you are talking about.

I don't know why you keep saying Shaq is a shell of his former self. So are Kidd and Marion.

What's the huge difference among them that makes it a laughable comparison?

Well, you can look at games played, for starters. And that Shaq basically retired after last season.

Dallas destroyed the Lakers and their bench scored a zillion points every game.
    It's not close at all.

I didn't say they were "d-league scrubs". reread my post.

He played 53 games out of 82 and all of the playoff games. That's about 70% of the possible games he could play
