Yeah, you don't know Akeem that well.

But Sampson was a much better puncher. Akeem whiffed all the time.

 

After watching McHale hit all those hooks, he might just be what the Rockets bigs need.

 

I was a season ticket holder back then and the fight happened in front of me on my end of the arena. The thing I remember most about that day was, after the fight, some cowboy walked around the arena behind the floor seats with a toy Big Bird hanging from a stick with a rope around it's neck. The crowd was at a fever pitch anyway and this guy really cranked 'em up. He was allowed to walk the length of the floor and circle directly behind the Celtic bench shaking Big Bird at them and security never stopped him. The Celtics completely folded up their tent after that.

 

Will the Rockets bring back the 86 team to Toyota Center for a reunion?

That would be awesome.
