No way LBJ is anywhere near as skilled as Jordan. He relies solely on athleticism. Period. He steps around, jumps over, or plows through anyone in his way. But I rest my case and prove my point by saying LBJ has been completely shut down in the 4th quarter this series simply by running a double team at him on the perimeter. Of all the smart coaches in the history of the game, think anyone ever tried that strategy with Jordan? Think he didn't have the "skill" to beat it and still impose his will on the game? Especially late?

    exactly.

Some people are just so blind its laughable.

It takes 2 secs to google jordans stats.

the Mofo** avged 28.6 ppg his rookie year. and a career 48-50% FG%. That is ****ing ridiculous. For a SG Kobe has been phenomenal, but even he couldn't match that with his insane shooting capability. Lebron is an extremely inconsistent jumpshooter as well. When it comes to driving into the lane hes probably better but everything else, even post game he severely falls behind.

Jordan's skill set is the result of the epitome of hardwork matched with ferocity of an animal when it comes to competition/ mentality

lebron is a great all around player but jordan was just a better scorer with a wide array of offensive moves and that's what matters.

jordan would never be held to 17, 8, and 17 in a 3 game stretch during the finals.

LeBron has no post up move, mediocre mid-range, cannot play off ball. Finish half of his layups with 4 steps. Are you talking about football skills on basketball court that LeBron excels?

Exactly, wth are people smoking? Besides his pole? The guy is all athletic ability and strength. What's this post game i keep hearing about? He has 0 post game. Michael Jordan evolved every year, does everyone really think Jordan relied on athletic ability in his 2nd 3peat? Check his age, he wasn't a young athletic freak anymore. LBJ is still the same player he was his first and second years in the league as far as skill.

1 injury to LBJ when his freak ability is fading away and he's done. He won't have the skill to dominate.

LeBron's not better at passing, he just has the ball at all time like a traditional PG. And good PG would yield 10+ assists in that offense. Triangle is an equal opportunity offense and that limits the amount of ball domination. A player can attract defense without ball but will never get an assist out of it.

LeBron also plays SF on defensive side, it's closer to the hook and easier to get boards at that position. Bosh averages more rebounds, does that make him better rebounder than LeBron?

LeBron simply plays in a setup that he can inflate his stats as much as possible. No wonder Hollinger constantly sucks him.

LeBron's combination of athleticism and skills are right up there with MJ. If MJ had LeBron's body, we can only imagine the reign of destruction. But between the ears is where the huge gap exists. On any team you put him on, LeBron will be the best regular season player. His ability to carry a team through the season is unmatched by anyone now and is comparable to MJ. But there is a cold-hearted nastiness and assassin's attitude that LeBron clearly lacks and it sometimes prevents him from imposing his will on games.

agreed goodbug. It's insane to think about how Jordan once averaged 8 rebounds and 8 assists to go with 32.5 ppg as a SG. Not even mentioning nearly 3 spg and a sky high fg%

Well Lebron is pretty buff and I am sure MJ's jock doesn't way as much so ya he probably could lift it.

I disagree. Tell Boston and Chicago that Lebron can't take over a game whenever he wants. I think the big problem with Lebron is that he doesn't want to be the guy that takes the game over, at least not as a scorer.
