I picked Mavs in 6 before the series started. It doesn't look too silly now, as some have said:)

The biggest difference between Dallas and other teams Miami had faced in the Eastern Conference Playoffs is, Dallas can score when it's needed, despite the fact the Heat is a great defensive team.

Game 6 would be really interesting.

    difference is:
    Nowitzki unstoppable
    Center: Chandler
and unbelievable Kidd at 38 is still playing like he's 18!!
    Barea underrated
    and of course Terry

This season is not a success for the Heat if they lose to Dallas. You don't have an iron man 2 like introduction just to make it to the finals and choke it away. There are no moral victories for the Heat.

Marion & Stevenson has been playing great D on LBJ and DW3 and scoring as needed

Haywood when not injured provides valuable backup minutes as well

Peja needs to step up (if he gets to play)

I believe he was being quite sarcastic.

Anyway, I'm still waiting for LeBron to unleash the "attack mode" he vowed to enter...

And D-Wade . Like Joakim Noah said, this team is "Hollywood as hell."

True, but the flow of the games is different. The Rockets didn't have 4th quarter choke jobs in their 3 losses.

Still, I wouldn't be shocked if the Heat win the final two. Two more great games would be awesome.

Anyone notice Mark Jackson's verbal butt-patting of the officials in this series?

"These refs are the best in the world" I heard that line. Probably so when he's coaching the Warriors they won't be against him.

Anyone hear more about Wade's injury? It's the strangest thing -- watch the collision slowly and you see the right side of his body hit Cardinal pretty hard, but it's his left hip that is hurting.

A lot of times bad hip pain, initially, comes from a hurt back. Just wondering if its referred pain or something.

I looked over Wade's stats (very impressive in the playoffs for most of his career), and I noticed that he's just about never played a full season. Guy gets a lot of wear and tear and I'm wondering if that jarring impact aggravated something more than it caused a new injury. He just did not hit his left side from what I could see.

I think it was 100 % an acting job. I watched the replay a few times, and then the way he was limping until he got the ball, and suddenly he was able to fly.

For this jerk (and the other jerk Lebron) to mock Dirk when Dirk actually had the flu and then come back to do a poor acting job like this just shows their immaturity.

ATW, I like Dirk a great deal, but I disagree on a couple of counts here.
    1. I don't think Wade would act to the point of missing significant court time for such an important game (!)
    2. The making fun of Dirk's flu was lame, and unfunny, but it was not the crime that some are making it out to be. Kind of a "so what, they're immature" sort of thing more than "they are horrible people" kind of thing.

    Just my take.

The Rockets stayed close and then were spanked in the closing minutes in their losses, IIRC, and the box scores seem to match up.

IMO they were a much better team than the Knicks that year but got dragged down to their level , and were fortunate to escape with the series.

No way. He was grimicing in pain all night. He didn't start in the second half.

This is the NBA Finals. Anyway, Wade didn't even use the injury as an excuse in the presser. Class act.
