Why would it matter? Kobe led lakers past Queens/Spurs and Shaq was the FMVP. Kobe led Lakers past Rox, Wolves, and he's being criticized for his 04 final performance to date.

Don't worry, he's got you to defend his honor. I'm sure he cares a great deal about you.

If I was a Homer who chokes his Bart at home to Kobe, I'd rather the Heat win with Dwade picking up the slack for LBJ, and winning the Finals MVP. That would devastate LeBron's legacy like Katrin- I won't go there...but you know...not good

Imagine if Wade is hurt and LeBron pulls an '80s Magic and wins Finals MVP. Goodwelch might off himself.

Wake up, LeBron was deliberately left wide open in clutch time because he can't shoot. There's no triple team.

Hrm, the other thing I was thinking is if Wade wins another FMVP, he's already tied Kobe with many more opportunities to come. That could be problematic...

Its easy to get 10 assists when you pass it off almost every time you touch the ball

    LOL

Isn't that why Lebron and Bosh made a pilgrimage to MIA last summer? So they wouldn't have to do it alone but be the 3 Musketeers or something? And aside from them, they wouldn't need much help. Who else could they afford with all 3 gobbling up the salary cap?

Wade is the go-to guy of this bunch. But his style of play renders him vulnerable to fatigue at the end of games and now injury.

Lebron is gifted but has maturity issues. (We should have known from the tales from Cleveland of his posse and sense of entitlement.) He has some growing up to do. We can give him a pass on that (after all rarely do superstars win the title on the first try) but he needs to acknowledge it and take responsibility, not keep skirting the issue or get angry at media for pointing it out.

And it would tarnish LeBron's reputation even more if he did. In any case I don't doubt Wade will be one of the top SG's of all time, maybe even ahead of of Kobe. It wouldn't bother me one bit because we all have our own reasons to like a player, and it shouldn't matter where they rank on a debatable list.

Lebron can't do it alone, his team sucks. Pat Reiley should put more effort into aquiring more talent like Gasol, Bynum and Odom for the King to play with. Lebron definitely deserves better.

True, it wouldn't be as good for LeBron, but it would be horrible for Kobe (well, not for Kobe, for his fan club parade). You don't want that legacy of "maybe 2nd best shooting guard in NBA History" to be tarnished by possible competition!

Remember, it's not Lebron hate, it's Kobe manlove.

Lebron's not even a shooting guard, how does that even matter.

I think Dallas finishes on Sunday. Miami has one hurt star and another star who doesn't want to play like one.

The worst thing for Miami is if Wade plays (very) hurt. If he sits, LeBron can know his role and will play much better (as he did when Wade was out today). If he's healthy, then the Heat will be fine. They are at home and will get a huge boost from the refs. I'm expecting them to blow the Mavs out in game 6, wire to wire.

Was looking like LeBron was afraid to take shots out there. Each time he had the ball he would make a pass, even some risky ones.
