That's awesome, one ofnthe reasons I enjoy Alamo, they don't play when it comes to idiots chatting, texting or using there phone once the movie starts. Can be a bit pricey but definitely one of my favorite places to catch a flick.

Saw the video yesterday. I used to love going to Alamo drafthouse sometimes but recently have exclusively gone to them. I have a Tinseltown right across the street but I'd rather drive 10 minutes out of my way to enjoy a pitcher of beer while watching a movie and have never had a problem with people talking or texting. It's f***ing great. Hell Alamo even helped me not drink and drive. I came out of a show plastered onto 6th street and didn't want to drive.I passed by the drafthouse and sobered up watching Bridesmaids. I love that place.

And the great thing about Alamo...under 18 not allowed!

Past two times I've gone to a movie, both at an AMC, some stupid mother felt the need to bring their crying baby. Second was a little more understandable cause it was Kung Fu Panda 2, but still, a movie theater isn't a place for a baby.

That's weird because I went to Alamo at West Oaks one time and it was highly annoying to have waiters walking around in front of me and people chatting throughout the movie. That was a long ass time ago though, maybe things have changed.

Why would you need to check the time while you're watching a movie in the theater? You would know how long the movie is going in.

Just in case I need to exit the room, and make a quick call at a certain time.

Alamo West Oaks is like the Magic Johnson of dinner/movie theater chains... It gets a pass/exemption for being in a specific location...

That was f***ing awesome. After going to Alamo, I find it nearly impossible to go to a regular theater.

I was always kinda interested in the idea, but what about the sound of people eating, plates clanging and waiters talking?

Seems like silent texting pales in comparison.
