It's a miracle! Epic performance by Dirk. He had a 102 temp?! Good grief! Wade continues his amazing play and LeBron continues to fade. Great series, fun to watch. The Mavs still have a chance. If Barea and Terry can get hot and Dirk get well, the Mavs could still win. I hate the Mavs but I hate the Heat more.
what does dallas do the other 42 minutes of these games? why don't they just play this D the whole game and hold miami to about 32 points for the game? and play offense this desperately and score about 132 points for the game? i mean somehow right at the moment the heat look their best and go up 15 or 9, dallas just suddenly is in lock down mode and won't let miami get anything and absolutely no one on miami seems to maintain composure. just rushed jumpers, fumbling the ball like crazy, turnovers, and then when they put together a good possession an easy missed shot. dallas has essentially not led in the 4th this entire series but comes back at the last minute and dirk puts it away. completely maximizing their wins so far. i guess lebron is just going to submarine what had been an unbelievable personal playoff run for him in this one series. try actually driving next game and see what happens. and stop reaching on defense (which lebron rarely does) and picking up fouls that take away your aggression because you're worried about offensive fouls. lebron's money jumper has deserted him and he is so tentative on offense. in the first 3 rounds he could pick and choose when to attack because he had the jumper going but now if he doesn't have a great driving lane he's just passing off. wade can't be happy about everybody else's effort in this game. miami has a slim hope of winning this series if they can win game 5 but i don't see it. dallas will just keep punking them in the 4th and dirk will keep raising his legacy (even in an overall bad game). also, 2nd straight game dirk had 1 rebound at half and finished with 11. weird stat.
Jordan had a single digit game one time as a Bull. Like, ever. Regular season, playoffs, rookie, you name it, one game.
RicBucher Ric Bucher For those who believe in fouling up by 3, Jason Terry said in post-game radio interview that that was their plan. Wade fumble scrapped it.
Mark Cuban not being on the camera makes it tolerable. If he was the old Cuban I don't think I could even watch.
Exactly what I'm thinking. Then he's setting the stage for a take over. Funny if it does not pan out according to his scheme.
You'd think he wouldn't have to get pissed off to play well on the biggest stage of his career. 24, 20, 17, and 8? Come on. Best player in the league? I just don't see it.
I don't get it why is everyone picking Dallas to win it all now? You guys do realized the last two game will be in Miami right? Sucks that I lost $250 for betting the Heat in 5. Heat in 6 and Bron won't play that bad again. He is hurt from what I've heard.
dallas with the most wins after trailing entering the 4th in the last 15 years? any chance the 1995 rockets had more? seems like we were always pulling games out after trailing (edit: nope, only 2). wow, dallas was 4-18 on 3's (stevenson with 3 of the 4) and miami managed to top them by going 2-14 (and miller hit both). miller and stevenson hitting 83% of the total 3's in this game would have been a pretty good bet. dallas isn't going to let lebron respond after a bad game. unless he starts turning the corner on PnR's by lowering his shoulder and going, dallas is going to have the paint shut off. that's the only time he has the advantage. or unless he trusts his jumper. lebron has to try to get himself going like he did late in the 3rd quarter, the only time he had success. and miami has to figure something out on PnR's against dallas. terry was coming off wide open and chandler was rolling wide open way too much.
DWade (32 pts) did many great things, including 2 sensational late blocks, but CANNOT LIP OUT FT W/ :30 LEFT & MUFF LAST-SECOND PASS.
game 2 it was the final 7:18. today, it was the final 7:23. heat go 0-8 on shots that weren't wade's dunk right at the end. 0 field goals in the final 7 minutes for a team with lebron and wade. what a joke. even without homecourt, dallas just took control of this series in those 7 minutes. now they know the heat can't beat them in the 4th and the heat know it, too.
