The son said he was embarrased for the first few days, but the other kids on the bus liked it. He spend less than $50 on the costumes for the entire year and was done by 7:30am, so he had time to get to work.

This guy is weird, and I feel bad for the kid.

It's one thing for kids to be embarrassed by things their parents unwittingly do.

But to set out purposely to embarrass your son every day?

"Hey man, I noticed your dad crossdressing as Batgirl this morning."
"Yeah, he does it every morning. Yesterday he was a mermaid."
"Should I call the police? Where does he touch you?"

And then he says it's a father's way of saying "I love you."

Has no one told him about baseball?

Take your kid to a game. Go get a burger. Catch a movie with lots of explosions.

Hell, the kid is 16. Buy him some nudie mags.

But don't spend every morning dressing up as Captain Kirk or pretending to take a dump on your front porch.

Some people try way too hard to be interesting.

Like naming their son Rain, for instance.

I see what you did there.

The guy wanted attention, he got mine. I didn't have to try very hard.
