It's pretty cool in comparison to the pain that's watching the NFL draft sometimes. Plus, no commercials, interviews, or Chris Berman to screw things up.

There are no trades, so a team can pretty much follow its big board.

Gominsky hit .307 with 18 RBI in 189 ABs (49 games) for Minnesota this year. Slugged .381 and had on OBP of .367. He had a knee injury last year that limited him to 6 games, so he may have been affected a bit from the aftereffects. Freshman year, he hit .338 with 3 homers and 25 RBI in 44 games. He slugged .478 and had an on-base pct of .407. Was 11-11 on steals that year.

Hamblin went the JUCO route after graduating, hitting .429 with 17 homers and 88 RBI in 09. Last year, he hit .226 with 7 homers and 41 RBI in 61 games (54 starts). Struck out 29% of the time (52 K's in 186 ABs) that year. He got the average up to .259, with 6 homers and 26 RBI this year.

Could be tough to get him to reconsider his commitment to A&M, from what I've heard

Lights-out his first two years at ASU, a bit of a down season this year, but he's got the Devils into the Super Regionals against UT.

It seems like they're taking chances on guys who could either flop terribly or blossom into major league stars. Most notably with their first round pick of Springer.

Time will tell (as is always the case with the MLB draft) - But I think this one has the potential to stock the system with loads of talent.

In Round 22, the Astros go with Andrew Muren, a CF from Cal State Northridge.

juicy, the Gulf Coast League and Greeneville await a bunch of these guys.
