Yeah this whole bashing him for the decision he made has become annoying. If he had not done "the decision' but still made the same decision people would have still criticized him big time and that is quite obvious. At the end of the day LeBron did what he wanted to do and not what America wanted him to do. Don't see what is wrong with that.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with it but as an entertainer you open yourslf up to criticism when you makes decisions that upset the people that support you. Lebron's decision to team up with Wade and Bosh affected the game many people love and support. His decision is his decision but it doesn't only affect him. Criticism is just part of the job and as long as it doesn't reach levels of violence I don't see anything wrong with it.
By virtue of being the best player in the NBA, LeBron is going to get criticism no matter what he does. He got criticism when he was in Cleveland for not winning (because his teams sucked, but let's overlook that). Now he gets criticism in Miami FOR winning.. because he's not always THE MAN? WTF is this.
I don't see how doing what will make him the happiest, both professionally and personally, is NOT the right thing to do. He gets to play basketball with two of his best friends in the league, live in a great city with great weather, and win. In my book, that's not the least bit wrong. (Obligatory: "The Decision" was of course, wrong.)
Anybody has the right to criticism him I agree with that. I just think some of the reasons he is being criticized for is pretty lame. People act like he didn't try in Cleveland for 7 years.
Lebron's receiving alot of criticism after yesterdays game and his performance overall in the finals.
Which is sad because Wade isn't getting any credit. Or I should say, he's not getting any credit except when it's meant to denigrate LeBron. The problem is that the NBA has tuned into a media-run league and teamwork just isn't interesting media.
No, he's getting criticism because he's not doing a very good job as Robin, and that almost cost them the game. Pippen got this kind of criticism in the old days too.
I personally think its ridiculous to criticize him for leaving Cleveland. That team was in a terrible cap situation which was not Lebron's fault. Players shouldn't have to pay for the mistakes of their GMs.
over twenty points and six assists in three games isn't a good secondary job? ask dirk about his help before you answer
Don't feed the trolls, they'll go back to their caves once LeBron has a good game. Didn't hear them chirp too much when LeBron was dominating nearly every game against the team with the best record in the league.
All I know is that Lebron completely dominated the team that everyone said they would lost to (The Bulls). Marion is playing awesome D on him in this series. Props to Marion. This is also why those of us with a brain picked Miami to win it all. You shut down one superstar and the other one steps up. Wade got shut down against Chicago and Lebron dominated. Now bron is getting held by Marion and Wade is dominating. I'd say Bron and Wade are the best 1-2 punch ever.
This is true, and the Dallas frontline defense as a whole is doing a great job stopping LeBron's normal penetration. Still, I think LeBron is too good for this and I'll be very surprised if he doesn't have a 30+ game with 10-15 FTs in game 4 or 5. What will happen then is the Kobe fans and media hacks like Bayless will talk about all of the cheap fouls he draws.
nah, they are the best ever, not just in the NBA, but any professional sport and throw in Olympic bobsled and figure skating.
MJ still managed to win 6 deserving finals mvps with Pippen it seems that most of you will discredit MJ when talking about what MJ had but give credit to MJ when talking about Lebron having to share which is it?
so even if they only win say 3 titles together.. they are still the best ever? YOU ARE CRAZY MJ-Pippen Shaq-Kobe still rank over dwade-lebron
Let's see, even the guy labeled soft, useless and overrated was able to put 23.2/.600 in ECF, so much about LeBron's 24.7/.447 performance as the man in ECF. What's the guy called, Bosh?
MJ was a dominant scorer, very much like Wade but more skilled and with better teammates (up until this year). LeBron is nothing like MJ-- he's more of a facilliator who has the ability to be a great scorer. The comparison to Pippen is actually not a bad one except that Lebron is a much, much better scorer and passer. I don't see anyone discrediting MJ. Most put him as the best ever. That 6/6 in FMVPs is an accomplishment that probably won't be repeated in a long time. That doesn't mean guys like Magic, Duncan, and LeBron (if he doesn't win it) should be discredited.
