Heat-slayer: Mookie Blaylock pg Eddie Johnson sg AK47 sf Moses Malone pf Mark Eaton center Yeah, I'd run with this group any day.
Dwight Howard or possibly Blake Griffin in a few years - someone athletic to devour boards, block shots, and get lots of putbacks Dirk - for offense because his game is something that Lebron/Wade can't stop because he doesn't rely on athleticism(something Wade and Lebron can match to anyone) - he just shoots over people. an aggressive Thaddeus Young - plays Lebron better than anyone else plus allows Marion some more time guarding Wade. ...in short, you can't stop the Heat dynamic two but if you can make them shoot less efficiently, you can beat them because their whole game is based on playing defense, limiting possessions in a game with a slow pace, and scoring more efficiently than their opponent. That's why they win so many games with scores in the 70s and 80s. If Thaddeus and Dwight can strengthen Dallas' perimeter and the help defenses inside and force Miami to be less efficient, then Dallas has a better chance to win as long as they still have a go to scorer.
Howard - foul trouble for all heat bigs Love - between him and dwight, no rebounds left for heat Melo - LBJ>Melo except when they go against each other. usually a draw Iggy - best perimeter defender. stronger, longer and more athletic than wade CP3 - perfect floor general
I know how to slay their "legacy" 1. David Stern 2. Players Association 3. Lock-out They could lose a season of their prime years and end up with a salary cap that makes them run purely with D league teammates.
the only 3 players who can slay the heat are: LBJ Bosh Dwade they are absolutely very very very most dominantest trio in nba history. but really. get CP3 and Dwight to Dallas or Houston and Miami will be an afterthought.
Add Dwight Howard to the mix, and maybe, just maybe... Anyways, I'd say: Chris Paul Kevin Durant Dwight Howard
