Another awesome episode another awesome speech by the Khal. Drogo is starting to be my favorite; Am I supposed to be rooting for him and DT? Martin really wanted to show those Dire Wolves; most Ive seen them since the first episode.
Jon didn't quite follow orders and convinced the others not to hit Sam. Can't remember from the book but that part is obvious from the show at least.
..awesome show. I haven't read the books.. but I REALLY want to know.. the question is simple: Do the Starks ever catch a break? Do they get the upper-hand.. ever? I'm guessing no.
He is one of those ******* drill sergeant type who was hard on his charges. I believe he hated Jon Snow because Jon defied him. The episode is fine, it just seems they are really rushing to cover a lot of space. Understandable since it's almost the end of the season.
Also, since Jon comes from royalty, Thorne assumed he was a silver-spoon, elitist (In a lot of ways Jon is an elitist). Spoiler They decided not to show Syrio's death in the same way the book doesn't describe his death. I could be wrong, but isn't there speculation amongst the book readers that he may be alive in some capacity?
Spoiler George RR Martin wrote this episode. I think there is a GREAT chance he is alive especially if Martin left out his death scene.
Spoiler I have always expected Syrio to be the same guy as Jaqen H'ghar. But I'm not sure of other share that point of view
In the books Jon shows him up publicly several times, commenting about how he could train some of the other boys in front of all the officers in a joke at Ser Allister's expense, defying his orders while protecting Sam being the two things I remember off the top of my head. I thought this was the best episode so far. They did have to condense a lot of material though. That is one reason I didn't like the drawn out Littlefinger/w**** training scene last week. So much material to cover and things that have been cut due to time, it seemed like a waste to add that 4 minute scene that wasn't in the book.
I think they left out the fact that Sansa Spoiler told the Queen about Ned telling the kids to pack up and go North.
very good episode my hopes is drago kills a few lannisters and tyrian finds a way to separate himself from the lannisters into a new house no mention of stannis kinda of disappointed, 2 episodes left and joffrey needs a good beat down
Spoiler GOT Virgins Not sure how Drogo is going to get to the Lannisters and Tyrion is going to form his new house in two episodes.
Well for non-readers, you have to remember this is book one of seven so some things will be resolved in the next two episodes, but there is a ton of stuff that will be resolved in future seasons.
i always start with the last book and work my way back i feel sorry for all you who havent read book 7 and 6/sarcasm
Dude... you shouldn't have clicked my spoiler.. what if I had mentioned something that would have ruined the story for you..
