LeBron has been pretty weak this series, invisible at times. He needs to just constantly attack and not worry whether the refs are giving him the calls or not (as they didn't tonight). It is somewhat embarrassing being outplayed by Marion, who, while good, should have no chance guarding LeBron if he puts his mind to it.
Jose Barea was pretty bad tonight. Missed a lot of open shots. So much for me saying Dallas role players would step up at home. They played even worse.
As far as this game went, it was horrible, a perfect example of the refs trying to influence an outcome (whether predetermined or being overly manipulated by the crowd). I hate watching games where one team is in the penalty early in every quarter, especially when the other team isn't even playing overly aggressive. These are two exciting teams and the refs need to just let go of the reigns a bit and let them go at each other. Dirk & Wade played great down the stretch but both teams were a one-man show and that isn't what basketball should be.
I'm getting pretty sick of hero ball. Wade, Westbrook, Lebron. It sickens me that Miami is probably going to win this series. Dribble Dribble, shoot a hero shot. Rinse and repeat. Make lots of money.
lol If I am truly a jinx then they will end up winning the title. Each round I picked Dallas to lose their series.
Zach Randolph does the exact same thing. Back up, back up, back up. Jack up a tough rainbow shot. BOOM it goes in! Dirk as well. Dribble, dribble, dribble, pump fake, pump fake, pivot, rainbow shot. BOOM it goes in! NBA has and always will be dominated by superstars. But that's not to say I don't like team ball. Watching the Rockets run the motion offense is just amazing to watch.
The heck is Hero ball? Were you sick of Hero ball when Zach Randolph was doing the exact same thing to the Spurs in that elimination game?
Watching their press conference after a win or even during timeouts during games, it's pretty clear to me Wade and James really have a good friendship. James is like the little brother to Wade's big brother. I can see why they chose to play together.
2001 Lakers: Shaq 28.7 pts 12.7 rbs 3.7 asts Kobe 28.5 pts 5.9 rbs 5 asts 2011 Heat: Lebron 26.7 pts 7.5 rbs 7 asts Wade 25.5 pts 6.4 rbs 4.6 asts GTFO
My God, you keep twisting the points being made. I was using the Rockets as a frame of reference. Bosh is their third best player - you talk about how it's legal and shouldn't bother us. Fact of the matter is that the chances of US putting a team that can compete with that is ZILCH. 90% of the NBA is in the same boat. It's bull****.
Some of you complain about some of the most petty **** I have ever seen. I wonder why some of you even watch sports.
They're best friends on and off the court. Even when they played each other in games when they were on separate teams they fooled around a lot (no homo); just as Tracy and Vince did to each other.
Sure, it would be nice to have a franchise player like Dirk, no questions about that. Unfortunate about Yao and Tracy but it is what it is. At least we're bringing one of them back so we can give this one more try. Anyhow, funny, seems like we hear too often about how can Les avoid paying the LT and how can they get under it.(Surprisingly, yes they are paying LT this year) Mavs? How can we go acquire this guy or that guy to add to our team?(Money no real factor) Dont let those guys fool you when they say they're willing to spend at all costs! What they're really saying is "We're looking to get under the LT at all costs!". We'll just have to agree to disagree.
