He will be playing with higher quality players,but he will have a steep learning curve when he goes up against top notch PG's.
Now we have the built-in excuse when he doesn't do well in Minny: Bad teammates and bad coaching. The fact is Rubio has to get a whole lot better or he will fail in the NBA. If he isn't completely dedicated to improving himself, forget it. The stress and strain of the 82-game grind will also be a big challenge.

Barca's players (other than Rubio) are better than the Wolves players overall by a wide margin. He is going to a team with much worse and less talented players than what he is used to. He is going to a team that is comparably scrub level by comparison to what he plays on now. What Rubio will mainly contribute with his "better teammates" (that are worse than what he plays with now) is that he might help Kevin love set an all-time NBA record for offensive rebounding with all the bricks that he will be throwing up, that is when he can actually make contact with the rim on his shots. That's a guess. As is that. For all your supposed "knowledge" of Euroleague ball, you seem to have no clue just how much absolutely better NBA players are. It's rare that someone fails in Euroleague yet succeeds in the NBA, but the reverse is true so often it's become a cliche. NBA failures are often able to carve out respectable careers in Euroleague. Can you name even ONE instance of someone not being good enough to make a Euroleague team, then catching on in the NBA and staying for a while? race aside, do you think morey still has the hots for this guy? a couple years ago, i remember there being rumors of how much morey tried to acquire this kid. if there's one thing i know about our g.m. it's that he will get his mark (see Martin, Lee).
I personally do think he still has the hots for him. Rubio's game doesn't depend on his athleticism, he can play in this league for a LONG time.
