    That's not a sport, that's a war.

exactly, hard to see the heat winning. it feels like they can do all sorts of heavy lifting and then the mavs just have runs in them when they need them, no matter how bad things look. and they've got more shotmakers to ruin even good defense (plus shawn marion can now take terrible 12 foot flip shots and swish them). i don't think they'll let lebron and wade to the basket so much this half and we know a miami role player isn't actually going to make any big basket to stave off the mavs.

Don't the NBA do halftime shows anymore for the finals? Or with the negotiations with the players looming, are the owners keeping it low-key?

The Mavs have to be very happy about the foul situation. Chandler and Stevenson have none, Nowitzki and Marion have one each. It will allow them to play more aggressive defense in the second half.

so the main guy guarding the perimeter (stevenson) and protecting the basket have one less foul than lebron james does offensive fouls? nice.

If anything, Kidd kept Wade from jumping right on the old couple in the front row. Even with Kidd, Wade barely missed landing on the old man's lap.

No wonder the name of that gif is DIEOLDMAN.gif.

Pretty tough to keep an eye out above and below the water line.

Must be a tough sport to play too - imagine half the battle is to prevent your opponent from ripping off your speedos!

If Wade keeps channeling the 2006 Dwyane Wade the Mavs have no chance.

Nice run to start the half for Miami. Getting into the paint and getting Bosh going. 2 birds, 1 stone.

damn, bosh making a jumper and a semi-tough layup and anthony making an easy layup? that's like 6 found points in doug collins' words.
