lebron hasn't done as much as wade but he was also setting the tone early with his drives. and he set up a lot of shots. unfortunately, no one but wade, james, and chalmers plans on making anything that isn't a dunk.

Lebron is the king of traveling...if they are going to call kidd for traveling they have to call lebron too and trust me the heat and heat fans dont want that

They have to balance out the crab dribble.

Hell yeah, lol. You see all these touch fouls Dallas is getting? That last Bosh foul was pretty horrendous. The Heat only have 9 attempts and damn near all of their shots are in the paint.

But Dallas is at home, so this isn't surprising. Just hilarious.

Can we finally institute a rule that says if you deliberately try to create contact (without regard to the basket) while shooting that it is an automatic no-call (or maybe even an offensive foul)?

What J Kidd just did was super dangerous.

Just because you faked your guy into the air does not give you carte blanche to jump directly into him and "attempt" a shot (if you can even call it that).

Often times officials make rulings based on whether or not the defender made a "play on the ball", well how about we start making rulings on offense of whether or not a guy made a "play on the basket"?

Tired of this lawyer-ball ruining the damn game.

Mavs should feel good being down only 5. Wade is right they knew the Mavs would make a run, but giving up so much so quickly has to be disappointing.

Why didn't this Bosh show up against the Bulls? It could have been a 7-game series.

Certainly. In defense of the referees, however, it is also probably the hardest sport to officiate. That doesn't excuse the obvious superstar pandering that is rampant in the league, though.

yes, it must've been devastating for you to see miami get a call. after all, free throws are only 15-9 for dallas, even with those 2 wade free throws. in fact, those were wade's only 2 free throws despite living in the paint. meanwhile terry gets slightly bumped after catching a pass and doesn't get fouled at all on a fastbreak and has 6 free throws. completely fair, i'm sure. miami should probably have negative free throws after going to the basket all game and dallas should be up in the 20's, 2 for every drive. otherwise, it's just not fair.

Dallas is fortunate to be down only 5. They played horrible defense the first half, just letting Wade and Lebron get into the paint at will. Of Wades 8 basket and 19 points, most were in the paint and most of of which he beat the defender on the 1st step.

Along with the Bad Defense, Kidd and Dirk along with the rest of the Mavs have committed countless turnovers allowing Miami to get into its deadly transition game.
Speakin of Dirk, while he made a couple basket and 3 point plays, hes been far too passive. If not for JET, timely threes and free throws, the Mavs would be down by double digits.

What a weird matchup. The Heat dominate for much of the first and second quarters, and yet the Mavericks end the half with a swagger like "We got this."

he's missing point blank shots. you would assume he's going to make them as the series goes on.

Dirk is just conserving his energy and waiting in the weeds; shaping up to be an exciting 4th quarter.

kmart would be about useless then. I think this is perfectly fine. that's like saying charges shouldnt be allowed because someone will get knocked down. man up bro.

if the defender is stupid enough to leave his feet, and the shooter is man enough to sacrifice his body, then so be it

I have to disagree. Guys who are dumb enough to jump wildly after pump fakes deserved to be punished. It's a basketball intelligence issue. The Heat killed the Bulls with pump fakes in the ECFs. Blew my mind.

It's dangerous sometimes but when a player stupidly takes 3 steps and launches himself out-of-control as Wade just did, so be it.

They won't do that because then the Superstar freethrow attempts would go down.

    Its here to stay

Game changed when Chalmers got that 3rd foul. Not trying to blame anything on the refs. Just saying he was doing much better than Bibby.
