Scarface is one of the biggest piles of crap I've ever seen. Love Talledega Nights, but then I also like to watch NASCAR from time to time. Ang Lee's Hulk ...never understood the hate. Tokyo Drift ...possibly my favorite of the whole series Day After Tomorrow ...definitely absurd but I still loved it. And while it got several Oscar noms, I was surprised it has a lot of bad reviews on Netlix. The Thin Red Line, one of my favorite war movies.
I had this discussion with a coworker the other day. I said that have always loved Donnie Darko. She said it was the worst movie of all time. I've heard it from quite a few people, but I still watch it at least once every couple of months.
I liked it enough to buy the DVD... but after watching it a second time I realized how much he truly missed the ball on that film... could have been so much better if it was a simple cat and mouse movie with the bounty hunters. That opening scene and the prison planet were easily the best parts.
Amen! This was a great movie. Also, it's not a movie, but I liked the Cavemen TV show. I think people got too caught up in the gimmick and failed to appreciate the show itself.
People got caught up with the fact that the show was just black jokes with caveman substituted in. And I think one episode was Indian jokes when a high-school have a caveman mascot. I was surprised it lasted as long as it did.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine (Two-Disc Edition + Digital Copy) [Blu-ray] (2009) - $7.99 I actually enjoyed The Cable Guy, but hear people bashing it all the time. Pugs
