Obviously apes are strong as heck and can rip us apart, so that's pretty scary to think. Without weapons though there is no real chance after we get organized. So obviously they will have to show them getting introduced to guns, etc, which we know they get from the original films.

i always enjoyed the originals. Looking at this little clip, however, it looks like the apes revolt right out of this testing phase of this drug. Now, i like the idea of the testing that makes ape able to become "the help", it doesnt appear to be in line with the originals where the apes are part of everyday life and eventually revolt in large numbers. But maybe there is more not shown in the trailer. Still, i love the originals so i will be inclined to see it in the theatre
Saw Conquest of the Planet of the Apes on HBO today, get the feeling it will use elements from that movie just from reading the synopsis.
The original Planet of the Apes is a classic and graced with one of Charlton Heston's finest acting jobs, IMO.
This is what happens when Ape's don't get equal rights. I assume PETA is long gone in this movie. With more testing, I think rats would also fight for equality.
I am a big fan of the original series, and even sort of liked the Burton version. But I think I'll take a pass on this one. It looks like they took some random 'Monkeys take over the planet' script and slapped the Planet of the Apes title on it to get a larger audience. I also think that Franco seems creepy and I can't take him in a lead role.
I suspect PETA would the reason the APE would win. . . . ssshhhh . . .that is the Secret of Nimf! Rocket River

Complete bs movie. There is no way they apes ever get passed the flinging poo instinct. Utter unbelievable bs.
That is how they apes are defeated. They let them sign up for the D & D where they can fling poo to heart's content.
you and my 11 year old would get along great. this trailer came on last night and when it finished he said, "holy crap, that looks awful."
i was looking foward to markie mark to make a cameo in this new remake as a scientist whos sole purpose is to ask apes" how's ya mutha?.....alright, well say hi to ya mutha for me"
I thought it had a hint of it. As for this movie...it has some potential. I'm curious how far the rise will actually go, with limited population i fonud it hard to think they actually come into complete power. The older movies had a better and more "believable" explanation for how the apes population was so large
