Some amazing stuff going to be announced at E3 this year. Really looking forward to Nintendo's next-gen console. I'm hoping it actually has full HD on it this time. I know Sony and Microsoft prob won't have anything big to announce this year but it'll be nice to see them hint at what the next-gen consoles are going to be like.
Already some good stuff. MGS, ZOE, SH HD collections for PS3/360. New engine from Kojima's team. Lots of PS Vita game info (yes, Vita). Some GOG stuff, though I think I mentioned that in another thread. Trailers for Deus Ex, Dark Souls, etc. I'm at work now, but I'll post some links later today for people interested in any of that stuff.
Final Fantasy XIII Versus. It's been in development for 5 years. WTH. Tomb Raider, The Last Guardian.
Does anybody even care? I have a PSP that I have not played in almost 3 years. It's a neat idea but really, does anybody even play PSP. I don't know one person that has a PSP Go. If Sony fails with the Vita then they should give up with the handhelds. On another note, can't wait to see Bio-Shock Infinite. From what I hear it's suppose to look amazing. Also want to see with the new Saint's Row looks like.
Don't go. Send me your pass, and I'll give you the info you need for your report. On strictly selfish note: Will Elder Scrolls Skyrim be on display in any way? That's the next game I have my eye on. I'm also looking forward to any new DL content for LA Noire. I love that game.
LOL - the thing is we are trying to finish our game, and this is one of the biggest distractions going, just trying to keep the team's head down and concentrating. E3 is more about the press and partying than anything else, Dice is my favorite conference, that is where the decision makers sit down and deals get done. E3 is show. DD
I pretty much set no expectations for that game (as far as E3 and other shows go). Think it was supposed to be shown off earlier this year, but they had some problems and called it off. Yeah, I care a decent mount. Not the highest priority (I'm more of a console and PC guy), but I had a good time with a lot of PSP games. Vita (ugh) game should be pretty good, especially if it takes a while for "next-gen" to get here (i.e., the graphics will still look nice). They'd probably be very happy with a repeat of the PSP's performance too. Should be. New info from a magazine recently I think. I'll just link to a NeoGAF thread with info about it (new screens too!): http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=432242 I'm pretty much good as far as press goes now. Just try to make November get it here a little sooner please. Did they ever allow the scantily clad women back to the booths? Or did they not go through with the ban?
My god that would be huge, and maybe hinting of a ZOE3? Is there anything about that game Sorcery? I'm debating buying the move bundle at frys for 50$ and that game's release would be a big draw.
A build of Deus Ex meant as a preview for the press (only covers first third of the game) was leaked and is available from the usual sources. From what I have read the game is near perfect considering its an early release and should be one of the best games that has come out in years. Many say its a worthy sequel to the first Deus Ex, which is pretty much all I need to know.
<iframe width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/XzXqNZEL5Fc" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> This one's already got my attention. Wish they would rename it to Catwoman: Arkham City...because I no longer care about Batman.
They've definitely been hinting at ZOE from time to time (think Kojima would like to have a new one). Guess we'll have to wait and see. Haven't seen anything on Sorcery, but then again, I pretty much ignore all Move/Kinect news...so maybe I missed it. Guessing it will be apart of Sony's show somehow though. Definitely seems to be the Move game with the most interest.
