I would care much less if there were not so many people denying it was him with so much certainty. To be fair though, I don't really care as it is.
After watching the interview, and Weiner dodging denying it was his photograph, it's clear to me that Rep. Weiner is lying about his involvement with the girl, and thusly, a scumbag. This doesn't make him an uncontrollable pervert. It's make him unfit to serve in public office.
To be really fair, there are a lot more people firmly asserting his guilt here than there are firmly denying it. Can you even find one example of the latter? It does seem like either Weiner is either guilty or grossly mishandling the whole affair. If it weren't for all his equivocation the story would have little meat left on its bones, and the fringe blogger press would be left to scavenge for marrow.
I think he hasn't denied it's NOT him in the photo. I think the only thing he's denying is that he didn't send the photo right?
i find it amusing that basso and other republicans are so fascinated by scandals like this only when its a democrat. your own party has men who sext teenage boys, have sex w/ other men in airport bathrooms and your last president had sleepovers at the whitehouse w/ gay male hookers named jeff gannon. as far as weiner, the fact that he does not deny the photo is him means it probably is. at the least, it means there are pics of his crotch out there. he probably didnt send it out, but if that was not his dong he would not be dancing around that question like he is. it is an easy "yes or no" answer...is that you or not...and the fact that he is not directly answering tells you all you need to know. fixed.
and if it was the other way around, how many of you would care only because he's a republican? Just saying why does everything always come down to the democrat vs republican thing? I didnt know much about Weiner prior to this scandal but his handling of it couldnt be any worse. Well his responses at least provide a lot of entertainment and good laughs.
when it comes to bashing republicans and democrats im equal opportunity. i will say however that the main difference b/t republican and democrat sex scandals is that the ones w/ republicans usually include male hookers and teenage boys. you werent saying anything - you were asking me a question. just sayin' dawg. why did the chicken cross the road? i agree - the way he is "handling" it indicates to me that although he probably didnt send the pic, it is his crotch.
Observant blogger catches an interesting yfrog image hosting bug that probably clears wiener of any direct involvement and instead points neatly to Dan Wolfe.
This was reported yesterday, it does not have update that Weiner is not ruling out it is him in the picture. Also if this is true, Weiner should have him investigated and put in prison. Everyone already thinks it is his picture that he sent to someone (possibly other than his wife by the looks of his squirming) so the best way to get rid of that is to be the victim of a right wing frame job.
