It was disturbing, I think I posted a pick of it somewhere in this thread I read he wanted to lose another 20 lbs but they would not let him Spoiler
Just finished watching the TV series Day Break with Taye Diggs on Netflix streaming. The show was canceled after the 1st season, but they wrapped it up in the last episode (only 13 episodes). I really liked this series. Its like 24 and Groundhog Day all mixed into one show. 8/10
Bridesmaids, 3/10, don't agree with all the hype... and probably the only reason I'm not giving it 1 or 2 out of 10; at least that scene was amusing. Otherwise, the problem is that, out of the 6 women, 3 of them are completely unlikable, including the main character. Borderline personality, or maybe uncontrolled bipolar? - anyway, she spends most of the movie acting completely bats**t crazy, even when she doesn't have a combination of alcohol and meds in her system as an excuse. You can't really root for her when you don't understand why she's so out of control; you feel bad for what her boyfriend is going to have to put up with. And the whole movie dragged on too long.
Yes, thank you for this.... I hate it when women comedies try to be crass and raunchy.. Sorry ladies not your style, I'd prefer the ladies do romantic comedies and be likable like Audrey Hepburn or something.. There are female comics that are an exception though like, Lisa Lampenelli and Sarah Silverman...
The Usual Suspects: 10/10. "The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist."
Yes, good stuff... and a barrel of popcorn since I'm assuming you watched both movies which is like 6 hours long.
Unstoppable: 7/10. Not Denzel Washington's best; not his worst. 127 Hours: 5/10. Kept expecting it to get better and it didn't.
Raising Arizona - 6/10 I was hoping for something a lot better. Is this really supposed to be an 80's classic?
Watched the (combined) US Theatrical Version on Netflix. I might have to seek out the original two parts. The cinematography was breathtaking, to say the least.
Seriously, 1/10? Even if you thought it was overrated you're saying it was worse than Gigli? Anyway, I saw the other day: Lost in Translation - 6/10: I'm not sure what the hype was for this movie. It seemed to just follow two people around. Really slow. I kind of got the, two lives intersect for short period of time, type of thing but didn't get why it got such rave reviews. Wasn't bad just didn't match expectations.
pirates - stranger tides - 4/10 - i feel asleep at two different points of the movie - Depp was great as always in his role of Sparrow but the overall pace and story of the movie bored me Hangover 2 - 5.5/10 - basically the same exact formula of the first - the first was original and clever this one seemed a bit more forced. some parts were funny but it was almost an exact replica of the first also i dont think i need to see all the trannys that graphically.
Just ReWatched - THE FRIGHTNERS Very Underrated Mike J Fox Movie. 9/10 - Just an enjoyable movie. Not everything needs to be DEEP and full of whatever Rocket River
Kung fu panda 2 - 7.5 / 10 - good movie, funnier than part 1, but the villain didn't do it for me. Part 1 is a classic imo.
Somehow, some way, "Buried" ended up on my netflix queue, and reluctantly I watched it. One of the worst movies I have ever seen, though admittedly I have not seen Gigli. 2/10, only because I know there must be worse. Is there something in the water? Are these jokes? If not, it's the first time I've considered adding someone to my ignore list. Blasphemers.
