Compared to the aging stars, there seem to be fewer up coming stars. What's up with that?

    LeBron
    Wade
    Bosh
    Camelo
    Amare
    Durant
    Rose
    Westbook
    Chris Paul
    D William
    Aldridge
    Griffin
    Love
    Gosol

    Who else?

Dwight Howard, Zach Randolph, Al Horford, Joe Johnson, Rajon Rondo, and there are young players who seem to be progressing very well, like James Harden.

Yes to Howard, Wall, Curry. Others not so much. Randolph and Nash belong to the aging star category.

The NBA is changing. The older generation is fading out, the class of 03' is now dominating, and the young guns like Durant, Rose, and Westbrook are growing up fast before our eyes.

I'm actually pretty exicited about the state of the NBA. This league has finally moved on from the post-Jordan era. If the TV ratings for this year's playoffs are any indication the future is very bright. Here's to the hope that there won't be a long lockout.

What makes you think these guys are going to retire? As far as I know, none of them have given any indication that they're retiring.

Nash has 2 to 3 more good years left in him.

Kidd is going to retier no matter what

Tmac proved he has 2 to 3 years left of being a solid role player

Peja looks like he looks rejuvinated . probaly still has one last season in him

Baron Davis actualy finished the season well and can probaly play on if he gets in shape.

Artest will reinvent himself under a great defensive coach in brown

Arenas looked terrible but wont retier

Yao if he can get his body right, maybe he can eek out maybe a couple of seasons out.Otherwise done

Ben Wallace is still a defensive force and can play a final season
