yea, wade got smacked in the head a few times earlier in the game = no call. james got his headband knocked off once, no call. you breathe on dirk = a foul. are you even serious right now? haslem barely touched dirk twice in the 4th and dirk got 4ft attempts on both of them. replays showed that too.
This is probably the least appealing finals match-up I've ever seen-- I could care less for either team.
I feel like I'm voting for a President in this Finals. It isn't about who I support - it's about who I support the least.
Because that's how you've decided to remember the game, even though that's not what happened. Chandler was called for his first foul on the first play of the game, so obviously Dallas was not on a run at the time. He was called for a three second violation twenty seconds later, score: Mia up 2-0. Chandler was not called for another foul (or any other violation) until 0:59 in the second quarter. At this point, Dallas was up 41-38, but not really on any kind of run. In the third quarter, Chandler was called for a foul at the 8:00 mark. Again, this didn't occur during a strong Dallas run, they were up six at the time and Dallas' last basket had ended a quick 4-0 spurt by D-Wade. Chandler then spent a few minutes on the bench before coming back and playing the final three and a half minutes without any calls going against him. In the fourth quarter, Chandler was called for an offensive foul at the 7:31 mark (no Dallas run, although it did come the possession after a Stevenson three) and a defensive foul against Chris Bosh with 10 seconds left in the game. The moving screen call against Chandler in the fourth quarter was the only one that even remotely fits in with your narrative of calls coming out of nowhere against Chandler and destroying the Mavs momentum. And I actually thought that was a good foul. It was about time a Miami opponent got called for a moving screen, with how many times they've been called for the same thing this postseason.
excuses excuses The Heat have won every home game by at least 6 points. My expectation of JJ and Jet getting shut down looked on point last night. The Mavs are going to get pummelled in this series
Man of course Miami were going to get it done, I doubt most of the people really thought they weren't going to go far in the postseason, they got 3 of top 1
10 players in the league. If he would have stay trued for a different team like the Pacers or Blazers through the losses, then I would give him more credit. The guy takes any Heat or Lebron insult personally and it's ridiculous.
While the Mavs held the Heat to 38% from the field. Scary? Only to those folks in the MFFL t-shirts. I, for one, find this fascinating as it will tell a lot about what kind of team the Mavs really are - that they really have what it takes to be champions. This game was decided by the play of the bench players and Miami's showed up while Dallas' did not. It also exposed a potentially fatal weakness for the Mavs: the loss of Caron Butler. With Butler sidelined, they are forced to play Peja and if he's not hitting, he's useless as he is not a good enough defensive player to pit against Lebron. Also, I noticed that Jason Terry disappeared when they switched LeBron on him. Carlisle was up all night looking at film and he confirmed what I saw - that the Mavs need to speed the game up because last night's tempo favors the Heat who are used to it from playing in the East.
@Buckleyisgod the heat cannot be allowed to get away with this bull**** 7:31 PM May 27th via web in reply to Buckleyisgod flea agrees that the ref officiating was bs. I love him even more now
While I agree that it would be pretty easy to come up with 10 players better than Bosh, I find it interesting how the overall opinion of Bosh on ClutchFans dropped like a sack of rocks from when the Rockets wanted him to when the Heat signed him.
Sort of like the Ex Rocket syndrome around here. People expected him to listen and belive Moreys lie's about the Heat(45 win team), and sign up with the Rockets.
I would like to make it very clear that I have always thought he was a Pillsbury doughboy on diet even when he played for the Raptors and.... ...I have never ever wanted him on the Rockets. In fact, I was very happy that the Rockets missed on both Bosh and Melo.
Mike Miller will play next game, injured his shoulder against Chicago, and was wearing a protective sleeve against the Mavs. He must be playing thru a ton of pain, with 2 busted thumbs, shoulder and prob some other stuff we don't know. But at this point of the season, every player has some sort of injury, and it's just a matter playing though it.

In fact, I was very happy that the Rockets missed on both Bosh and Melo. Bosh is in a good situation right now. He just needs to be a role player and play behind Lebron and Wade and he gets max salary. Anywhere else, and he would have been exposed just as he was on the Raptors.
so you'd rather have miami get 32 fts and dallas 26 fts and say a couple more fouls called on joel anthony after heat made a run? you think the result would be different?
