The more egregious travelling violations last night were when Lebron recovered the ball on the floor and proceeded to stand up without dribbling before passing, and on that crossover/dunk late he easily took 3 steps.
I agree, most people don't seem to understand this. It's not until you have full possession of the ball that you then start counting the steps. Either way, Jason Kidd travels every time he sets up for a 3 pointer.
The referees are professionals. If they didn't call it, then it wasn't a travel. If he indeed did travel, then you should be bashing the referrees and not Lebron. Let him play.
Huh??? How does he travel when he's spotting up for the 3? Or maybe I'm missing some form of sarcasm.
Not sure if it was a travel but on multiple times I saw Lebron smack the shooter on the hand when he was closing out. I guess only Miami gets that call.
He does this more often than not. Go to 0:47 <iframe width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/MrPJ3CbFnNg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/MOqt0pDM1Dk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
yes, technically that's a travel. but it'd not like he went 5 feet with 4 steps. he lifts his left foot like .5 cm to spot up
He takes an extra step before the step he uses to get space. It's quick but it's there. Replay the video a few times from the 20 second mark.

Just did. Still don't think it's a travel. If he lifted his left foot before his right on the jumpshot, then it would be.. but his left foot is the pivot foot.
I agree with you. He shuffles his feet before the move but this is irrelevant because the ball hasn't touched his hand yet. Once the ball bounces up into his right hand, his left foot is already in motion, followed by his right foot, then the elevation. Now teh falling on the floor and standing back up is a different story.
just a long shot but for the first time in history is there audio spam on clutchfans? Or is it just me? The two annoying babies?
