You do realize that the majority of people on this forum picked the Heat to win right?

Regardless, who cares which team people pick? Doesn't make you an idiot for picking the wrong team. It is just a prediction, a guess into the future. Anything can happen really.

Octa has took it upon himself as a personal mission to prove all Heat doubters wrong. On a message board. A Houston Rockets message board. On the internet. It means the world to him. ARGHH YOU MUST NOT HATE THE HEAT ROAR ROAR!! Guy is the just th most paranoid, insecure person here, it's humorous really.

defense will be huge in this series.

dirk has got to be able to dominate his matchup for the mavs to have a chance. yes, he scored 27 points, but the were in no way efficient like it was in the past 2 series.

the heat's ability to light double dirk and recover to the shooters (didnt do such a great job in the first half) is the primary reason dallas couldn't do much offensively.

both teams will play and shoot better as you saw as the game progressed, so don't expect such ugly basketball like it was for most of game 1. dallas will shoot better. james and wade will be even better, and bosh will make his shots.

but the thing is who will make enough stops? you have to give the edge to miami simply b/c of this.

and as i was watching the game, how many lucky shots/rolls did marion get? jesus

Just when we thought the Mavs bench got over itself and wouldn't suck anymore.....whoops. Bench is the key in this series.

Just find it funny, people are talking about Lebrons hair line, instead of the Heat's great game today.

Who are these "people"? There are like 10 posts about James's hairline by maybe five posters, compared to pages of posts talking about today's game before that.

Let's not knock Octavianus now. A lot of you Heat "dislikers" have been giving him hell all season when it looked like Miami wasn't gonna get it done and he stayed true. At least he posts after wins and losses, as opposed to some that only show their face when Miami loses.

Although maybe you could replace "wrong" with "not in love with the Miami Heat."

What a f'n game...bad calls, no calls and so much love for the Heat...it was truly pathetic...

I don't even like Dallas, but c'mon, what happened yesterday was a travesty...Dallas needs to shoot better and make plays...but at least let it be fair...

It's looking pretty scary to the Mavs now, isn't it? Especially when the Heat's defense holds the Mavs to 37% from the field.

on the road, dallas had 32 ft attempts to miami's 26. are you even serious?

1-2 bad calls happen EVERY game in EVERY sport. and you're going to blame the result of a game on that?

lebron and wade had 7 ft attempts total.

i know people just don't think miami can win without the refs. apparently they're not that good.

if the mavs' offense is iso dirk, and just shoot 3s, it's a wrap for them. lebron will completely erase jason terry from this series and without terry making clutch shots, this mavs' offense will not be the same down the stretch.

miami will shoot better. bosh isn't going 5-18 again. wade isn't going to continue to get punked around the rim. and lebron will continue to be more aggressive.

and if dallas expects shawn marion to make those miracle floaters, well, good luck to them.

What game were you watching? dallas had 32 ft attempts to miami's 26. Did you see in crunch time when Marion used his head like a bulldozer into Mike Miller and go the call?

exactly. everytime i looked up, dallas was shooting a FT. i can't imagine watching that game and feeling like the officiating was one-sided to Miami's favor.

Why was it that everytime Dallas made a run, some bull**** nonexistant call on Chandler was made?

The refs do a good job at making it look like it is not rigged but reality is reality.

You should have looked up during the entire game.
