I think that's your reason for agreeing with Skip. In the "debate" he pretty much just keeps screaming "OMG are you gonna buy that from Broussard?!?" without bringing up any points as to why the contrary was true.

But ya, Broussard had one of the most weak arguments ever. Lebron told me so it must be true!!!11!1one!

They're both very much representative of the "debates" that go on in GARM and Dish. No substance

How do you bring substance into that? Skip brought up LeBron calling himself King James, wearing #23, and branding the LJ23 label. Broussard brought up.. LBJ's comments to him a week ago. If anything, Skip's argument had a lot more behind it.

Finally someone sticks up for that dude and his belief in LeBronology. Probably now at the top of the list of LeBron protectors on here.

How is the "King" nick a slight to Jordan? You think if his last name was Washington he would have the nickname? So when Shaq went to LA, he wore #34 to insult Hakeem? And he chose #23....what do you expect his label to be called....LJ59?

So where was skip when James was a rookie? Did he bring up all these points then? Seems to me that he's just sour about the way James did the "Decision".

And don't start throwing up posts to counter what I'm saying just because you may auto-label me a lebron lover blah blah. I'm not and my posts in other topics prove that. There are reasons to dislike Lebron James but Skip is just being d-bag bringing up insignificant reasons.

Sometimes its funny to see the media bash athletes for being the best at what they do!!!..... Yet these reporters arent even the best at what they do!!!..... How hard is it to get misleading information and then have an opinion it???...

I don't know you and I don't deal in "X hater/lover" type comments. You obviously don't know much about Skip though -- he's been on LeBron's case from the very beginning. This isn't some new thing because of The Decision.

People label Skip as a LeBron hater, yet he constantly says that LBJ could become the greatest PG in NBA history. He's right -- LBJ's game is more like Magics than it is Jordans. How you can say that LBJ might be greatest PG ever and still be labeled a LBJ hater, I don't know.

Skip holds LBJ to a higher standard than other players, but he does that because of LBJ's actions/words. He came into the league calling himself King James. He took Michael Jordans number. If you want to brand/associate yourself with THE greatest player of all-time, you should expect people to hold you to a higher standard. Skip would criticize Bron for his late game decisions -- and until these playoffs, he was dead on in his comments. Bron is still settling for jumpers in the closing minutes, but his shots are falling this playoff series.

I agree with what you just stated. But I don't think that's the issue here. Skip said he "disrespected" Jordan. Criticize his game and criticize that he needs 2 other allstars to win it (like I've done), criticize The Decision fiasco. But I'm not sure you can equate his inability to be a "Jordan" type player (even though he SHOULD have been) to him dissing Jordan. So he chose the same number and was dubbed "King" James....that was all decided before his first game ever. I have yet to find Skip criticizing Lebron on day one when he had #23 on with fans chanting King James. Skip may have started calling him out about his "heir to Kobe" status but this "he dissing Jordan" thing started after The Decision.

Jordan is no quiet guy. If he see's that his legacy is being messed with, he'll come out guns blazing. That hasn't happened yet.

LeBron James was wearing the number 23 since AAU ball. I guess all basketball leagues should just retire 23 so it won't be disrespecting Jordan

Former players and some other journalists have been known to own Skip.

However Jalen Rose a couple years ago almost brought Skip to tears , even Jay Crawford felt sorry for his buddy **** Bayless.
