This hire would have never been as sexy had no little critter critics like these stormed onto the scene.

This hire is the best personnel move Morey's ever made.

Why are you so mad all the time.

Weren't you the one that said you would stop watching basketball all together if Mavs win the championship?

What evidence do you have that makes you believe Kmac is a horrible coach. I hope you are not using his tenure as the twolves HC as the basis of your beliefs.

His first stint he went 19-12, not too bad considering its minny.
His second stint, he started off 10-4 earning a coach of the month award, then Al Jefferson tore his ACL. And it went downhill from there. So if u are looking at his overall record and making your assumptions you might wanna look a little further

He did a good job his first time around. The same team did better under him than it did under highly regarded coach Flip Saunders. And that team was crap (KG+nobody days).

And his second time around, he coached the Timberwolves and the team was not in last place. That is overachieving.

He is credited alot for the development of PFs such as Kevin Garnett and Kevin Love. He was a HOF player, considered to be highly intelligent and outgoing (that could translate to good communicator/teacher).

Maybe McHale is a bad, maybe he is a good coach, I do not know. He has never even coached a full season. Why are you writing this guy off? I do not understand.

And furthermore, you joined this Rockets board in 2007 with the username I heart Stevie? That is fruity and Steve Francis is crap (always was a bonehead).

Simple. If you can't support the Rox full-time, then go be a Heat fan. We don't appreciate fair-weather Rox fans that are mote fickle than homie-hopper whores.

$5 says that if the Rockets have a lot of success with McHale as their coach, I<3Stevie will be one of the many people that completely change their tone and say they knew it was going to be a good hiring from the start.

What's your measure of success? Getting #14 in the lottery

The new measure of success for McHale's Rockets would be getting the young guys to develop.

You think any team can compete with the Heat, Bulls, Thunder anytime soon? Good luck. We're better off building for the future.

Yeah, and if Obama gets elected it will be the end of the world.

Grow up, guys. It's a rebuild. It honestly doesn't matter who the coach is for the next couple of years.

I personally think this has a lot to do with it, I think Morey sat down with this idea that he wants to pick someone to run the game sets, but does little in practice except individual development.

Leaving defensive coordinator to someone of Morey's choice, and offensive coordinator to someone of Morey's choice, etc.

The Clipper move would be hiring somebody like Lawrence Frank.

A guy with a ton of experience and zero success.

My takeaway point from OPs post:

    1) Being 12 is tough
    2) One day I will know what boobie feels like
    3) The world is crashing around me , 3rd period Ms. Wilkins is hawt
    4) I like turtles
    5) Rockets uniform need change, not purdy
