I think it boils down to map size. Large maps (i.e., BFBC2) will be slow and you will run around a lot, trying to find people to kill. Small maps (i.e., CoD) will be fast, enemies will practically come in front of you without you needing to do anything. Even with all the updates in technology and gameplay, there's just no way getting around that.
Have to say I'm surprised BF3 is winning at all, even more surprised by this large a margin. I liked playing the first MW, but as soon as I played Bad Company 2, I immediately enjoyed the Battlefield experience more than the smaller-scale MW games. Not to say anything's wrong with COD, just my personal preference.
Yeah, I'm just playing with you. Those are the two hugest hyped games though. Unless you count GoW3. Never been a fan of that franchise.
That, my freind, is just a no life hacker who sucks at CoD. That has probably been patched now anyway.
True. I've just never been a fan of the COD franchise and felt Battlefield went way down hill after 2142. Am looking forward to Gears tho, as well as Deus Ex 3 and DNF. And if you take into account hype from the past decade instead of just this year, I think DNF is the most hyped game.
There you go! Another game I'd much rather play then the two in the poll. By the way, just to clarify, Barbie Adventure 3 will never measure up to the original!!!!
Yeah I like both alot, just like BF better for online play, CoD better for single player missions. Battlefield is like basketball, there's alot more variability, and you can be the best individual player in the world, but a good team will always beat you if your teammates suck. CoD is like baseball, you don't need to rely (as much) on teammates to perform well.
You guys suck. I thought there really was a Barbie Adventure 3. I'd rather play that than CoD. If nothing else, I save some money. Plenty of great games to check out this year. Even plenty of interesting "dudebro" games if that's your thing. Whatever happened to free map packs period? Waiting for the "You pay the fee, and you can play CoD" news. Activision is definitely smart to roll this out slowly.
