Skip Bayless Says Chris Broussard Sold His Soul to Get Close to Lebron James

Im usually not a fan of skip, but it was nice to see him call out Broussard- its very true. FWIW though, Broussard is not the only one.

 

Yep, it is clear that the journalistic line is extremely blurry these days.

Athletes use journalists to get their PR up......and the journalists go for it.

1. Skip should be fired for his analysis on Lebron. He said he wasn't clutch and couldn't perform under pressure. He also called Bosh - spice bosh. They both proved him wrong in the playoffs this year.

2. You guys hate Lebron so much that you are actually defending Skip Bayless???? I thought hew as considered to be a village idiot around this bbs?

Broussard is a LBJ nuthugger, and Bayless is a LBJ Hater. Both of them seem to have a bias in regards to LBJ discussions. Skip Bayless isn't on ESPN because he is an expert in regards to sports. Skip is on there because he is argumentative and people will talk about him just because he is annoying. ESPN is about entertainment, not about giving you the best sports analysis.

That's what I'm getting at. There has never been one positive thing said about Skip on ANY basketball message board I've ever been on. Now, all of the sudden people like him and respect what he has to say?????!!?

Skip's argument wasn't "because that's what I think," it was because of his actions rather than words.

I don't agree with Skip on many things but in terms of Broussard as a "journalist," he hit the nail on the head.

1. Actually, he was historically known for not performing well in the clutch. It was only this playoff stretch that he finally stepped up. Bosh, well. Bosh is Bosh.

2. I like Skip; the guy is somewhat sensible when he's not on a hater rampage. That being said Broussard is a huge D-bag. Lesser of two evils here...

 

I love Skip and I think he's right on a lot of what he says. Particularly, he's been dead on in his LBJ analysis. LBJ settles for jumpers instead of taking it to the rack when NO ONE can stop him when he drives. LBJ has shown to be more clutch this year, but now suddenly everyone wants to yell "See I told you he was clutch!!! Nevermind the last six years of him not showing up, he showed up in the last game!!!!"

If I say LBJ isn't clutch and for five years he proves me right, one playoffs isn't going to suddenly make me an idiot.

 

I don't understand how Skip can bash LeBron so much but turnaround and praise Melo so much.

He has even said Melo is very clutch in the playoffs despite him only making out of the 1st round once in his career.

 

Broussard is an unabashed Lebron nut-hugger and Skip is an irrational Lebron hater.
