My question is exactly what I stated. Just interested in the hardware you use for PC/Smartphone/tablet.
It's a shame that the mods apparently are fine with letting a troll **** up these threads, pretty much every single time.
i actually am not a big fan of apple but i do have the iphone so i care about what happens at WWDC. so can we please keep the thread on track. the notification system sucks monkey balls. i finally gave in an jailbroke it after 2 years just so i can put bitesms on it. freezing your state in a few applications is not multitasking. nor is having a bunch of "recently opened" application icons on the bottom.
iPad "It's Magical". Stop with the "as advertised" BS. Like I said the Camera Connection Kit was working(for everyone who know about it) with a whole bunch of other peripherals until Apple found out it was too "Magical" so they decided to patch it and cripple it. Now good luck that it will work with certain camera(s) and camera card(s) now. So where is my "Magical" iPad that was advertised? Oh yeah, it was the "Magic" to make things disappeared.
I guessed it's time of year you're asking for some rep points because all your rep points are coming from Apple related threads. For a guy who gets all pissy and crying when someone who have a negative thing to say about his dearly Apple products but troll in the PS3 talk back or any PC related thread that talk smack about his dearly Apple.
If people would ignore him he would go away. Trolls exist because they need attention, and as long as people keep giving him attention he'll keep posting.
It's not even that. He makes hardcore windows users like myself look bad. I'm embarrassed. What he brings is pure and utter loathing. You post anything pro apple he thinks it's an attack on PC users. Honestly I came in here hoping to have a lively debate between Mango and iOS5 and what I got was fanboy ranting. Ugh.
So what are everyones thoughts on the integration of voice to make it as functional as ANdroid's? Also, I hope they add multifinger swipe to bring up a widgets screen
Of course I do my research. But research isn't always the same when owning and playing around with it first hand for months not days. I always try to buy the best for the price range. The tech/gadgets that I buy are for my every day use and for the work that I do. The iPad was the only tablet around at that time but I'm sure it's probably still better then some of the tablets that came out because of the it Apps. I would jump on the Android already but Android still have a long way to go with their OS. Not until I see a tablet that function better than a netbook that's when I will upgrade. Don't make it sound like I'm picking on Apple. If people post thread on tech products that I own I'll give my true unbiased opinion on it.
I'm sorry dude. You people bring the PROS I'll bring the CONS. Gotta balanced out the Universe. There's no Ying without the Yang. Oh, what's there to be embarrassed about? Windows 7 is the best OS that I've ever own.
repped btw OS, one thing we can compromise with our Android/HP(Palm) webOS battles, we both don't have phones that run iOS
Again, you are complaining about a product that is working as it was designed - a camera kit. Did you buy YOUR iPad in order for it to use a camera connect kit as a USB device? I use my iPad all the time and it performs exactly as advertised. Bur, then again, I don't expect mine to perform like a 'powerful desktop PC'. I don't expect it to use peripherals for a purpose other than they were designed for. I believed Steve Jobs when he said they would not use flash. I am posting this from my iPad in Brazil, where I also surf the web, check my email, watch movies, listen to music, read books, connect to my desktop PC in my United States office, pass the time playing games, connect to my home iMac, send free texts to my wife's and my son's Android cell phones along with other functions. My only reasonable complaint - the lack of the 'arrow' keys on the keyboard. But you know what, I researched it and knew that before I bought it. If they eventually add it, great. If not, I knew what I was getting into so I'll blame myself because Apple never told me they would have it. And just to show I am not a complete 'fanboy', I will never buy another Time Capsule, and I think their TV advertisement showing the print capability of the iPad is misleading with the implication that it will print to any printer.
yep. i can appreciate android and ios, but home is where the hp webos is. i am looking forward to this event as well. i've been thinking about an ipad, but will check hp's touchpad first.
http://gizmodo.com/5806910/icloud-is-coming-to-wwdc-along-with-os-x-lion-and-ios-5 Looking forward to seeing what they will offer for iCloud. I really like Amazon's Cloud right now.
I couldn't find any real updates on this, but I plan on joining this suit once available. Apple crippling the 3G iPhones is what eventually drove me to buy an Android phone. I won't be getting another iPhone until the service cost comes down (can't justify paying almost 50 bucks more a month for less features via Verizon or ATT right now), but even then, I'll be extremely leery of getting anything that isn't a "current generation" model.

With all the major carriers instituting data caps, I just can't see how the cloud services will prevail. convenient? Yes. But If you're constantly streaming decent to high bit-rate audio, how does that affect your monthly bill? I'm still fortunate to be one of AT&T's unlimited data users...I don't think I'll ever give that up (unless I'm forced to...).
