I really liked the first one and even got the bluray but this one just didn't do it for me. There were parts that were funny and some that were hilarious (I love the humor of the Galafianakis character as he is reserved yet oblivious) but overall I felt it pretty "meh." I was really hoping it would be awesome but was let down. I think you might even go as far as thinking of it as a remake of the first one.
saw the movie last night. overall i wasn't too impressed. seems like the script was written while dropping a deuce on a toilet. very unimaginative and odd oh and way too much dong for my taste - my penis shriveled up just look at that gay****
I must be the .5% of the entire world population that thought Hangover was way, way overrated and wasn't very funny and has no interest at all in seeing Hangover 2. I really don't get all the love, but to each his own.
I laughed. I won't deny that, but over all. The movie was meh. Worth watching, but not in theaters. Maybe a $1 redbox rental.
I think that was used for shock value. Don't understand that hate for Hangover 2. It was funny. Not as funny and surprising as the first one (obviously), but I had a good time. I just wanted to laugh.
Not sure why people expected something radically different than the first. The point is that you get ****ed up, party hard, and then piece the nights events back together. Its not like the same punch lines were used again...it was all new material. It was a funny movie and worth the 10 bucks.
It was a solid comedy... better than most of the **** coming out this year as far as that genre goes. It's not better than the first one but ONLY because the first one was "different". If this was a standalone comedy, people would love it.
