Every heard of the hype idiot? I'm not the only one of the many that got suck into the hype machine and Apple isn't the only one. You stupid logic about me owning an Apple because I need to compensate for something is laughable. The iPad doesn't even leave my house so yeah your logic of me flaunting it in front of people make very logical sense.
No, but I'm pretty sure he raped alot of fanboys. LOL at people think I'm sitting here banging on my keyboard and tearing out my hairs while typing.
I learn the hard way like most other people. Hating them now doesn't mean hating them in the future if they change their ways. I for once like a good products that doesn't screw the customers over. I'm a tech geek and I like the latest techs stuff. My beef are the Apple fanboys who instead of fighting back and try to get what they want they all goes blind and give in and this is why Apple is ****ing people over the ass.
So what's wrong with the iPad? You apparently researched it and bought it for a reason. What doesn't it do that you were expecting?
Ah, contraire. You just proved my point. You purchased something to be "cool" - people more secure in themselves don't care about that. I believe you legitimately don't care for the product now, hopefully for actual reasons, and not just because you moved on to new hype. Nonetheless, your complaining about people on here acting like fanboys reeks of hypocrisy. Your the only one who made a fanboyish type purchase, buying something regardless of whether or not it actually offered what you wanted.
There are pros and cons. The cons outweigh it for me. I generally bought it for surfing the internet away from my computer. Touch interface web surfing isn't so touch friendly. The frustration of touching the wrong links happens 1outof3 times. Web brower(s) are just as bad. Since coming from a powerful desktop PC the experience is pretty disappointing. The promise of HTML5 is BS. Not even near. Some main site that I need are Flash base. A little too heavy to hold for long. Only good thing it's very portable and convenient and the boot up time.
These are all pretty standard things that 'tech geeks' like yourself should have been able to find out prior to purchasing a product. It was well known based on what people that worked for Apple said that flash wasn't supported and there was no intent to support it. Obviously there will be a difference between a 'powerful desktop PC' and a tablet. Didn't you try one out to see how difficult it would be to click on web links? On the occasion that the link looks difficult to touch, I simply enlarge the screen. Takes a split second.
Oh yeah, I bought a great mouse to be cool and a big LCD monitor to be cool and I kept my old CRT monitor so I won't be left out being cool for the 90s. I also bought a good video card to be cool and a top of the line AMD cpu to be cool. Oh yeah I'm "COOL".
Can we kick cowboy out of this thread and just focus on what it's about? I don't care what CB thinks of Apple, but I'd sure like to know what they have planned for 2011..
Why would I do that? I don't have a problem with you as a poster, but there's no point in you being in this thread.. you aren't adding anything to the discussion and are just bashing the brand. I understand you wouldn't have said anything if someone didn't mention your name -- now that you've had your say, I'd just like to return the focus to speculating on what Apple will improve on.
Did you buy those products blindly instead of doing actual research? My bad for perpetuating. I too am interested in the updates. Apple isnt perfect. But in Jobs reign, he's had a hand in revolutionizing computing (maybe now twice with the iPad truly starting the tablet craze), music, and cell phones. That's amazing.
Market studies and surveys all point to the fact that on the whole Mac owners are happier than PC owners. I read several of them postulate that Apple draws many non-tech savvy people who just appreciate a working product, a product that does the job it's intended to do well. Thus they're happy. On the flip side, tech savvy/geeky people tend to be more dissatisfied with hardware in general, whether Apple or PC. They're always looking for new utility or different ways to modify their hardware, in essence admitting what they have isn't good enough. That seems like exactly the case here with Cowboy. You can debate the merit of apple disabling a feature that they didn't intend/advertise but ultimately they're not responsible for the feature working.
Wow someone finally figure me out. Apple would be a fantastic product if they didn't screw people over. I had so much hope but they left a sour taste in my mouth. <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/9_EcybyLJS8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Rant over. Carry on.
Had a dude bring in his macbook pro today, which had some sort of malware on it. It was launching gay p*rn. He was complaining that mac's weren't supposed to get infected. I lol'd.
I love apple products. Most of all I love my apple stock that has gone up in value like 3,000% in the time since I bought it.
