    I know we're all supposed to hate Terry but chill. The dude tattoed it on himself for motivation before the season. Obviously he knew if the team didn't get to the finals he would look pretty silly and even more so without winning the entire thing.
    I'm not going to hate him because he got a tattoo of the trophy to motivate himself.

    Jason Terry is a good guy. His on-court persona is irritating to opposing fans, sure, but he's a great teammate, very good with the fans, and a total professional.

    I hope that moron never wins a title. Nobody on that Dallas Fagericks team deserves a title. Even that giant blond-haired douchebag chokejob; who is doing surprisingly well in the playoffs.

    I would assume his on-court persona is all most know about him. Other than rare instances, i'm not sure how anyone would know how good or bad a person these athletes really are.

    By considering their deeds off the floor and how they conduct themselves with fans and the media. That's a better barometer than how they celebrate after hitting a clutch basket.

    Nothing wrong with what he did. Did it before the season anyways. Not that that makes a bigger or lesser difference. LeBron said he and the Heat were going to win 7+ titles and it was going to be easy once the games started, and Pat Riley could even join them and play with them! Pretty damn arrogant and stupid thing to do before you even won the title, let alone before the season even began. :rolleyes:

    I don't think what any entertainer, athlete or politician (or anyone who works for the public) does in the public eye is a great indicator of who they truly are as a person.

    It's in their best interest, career wise, to hug children, donate, and volunteer.

    Because of this, I choose not to make judgments about who they are as a person. I hate them for what they do on the court.:) That's all I really know about them, the persona they project. So, I feel completely confident in saying Terry's is annoying (as a basketball player). He may be a great guy, he may not...rather unlikely you could have any reasonable stance on that from bits of sound bites and photo ops
