I edited my post to answer. Sorry, I do that a lot, I'm not a fan of proof-reading and I often have a thought or two that comes to me after I hit submit.

you've been here long enough. it's the same when the YOFs started thinking the Rockets didn't exist before he came.

Or when 'supposed' Rockets fans think that the Rockets won the championships because Jordan wasn't in shape .

Or when it's everybody else's fault, JVG, Yao, Rick, Sura, Rafer, Clutch the Bear, Turbo, that the Rockets didn't win a game, a series, or whatever

Oh how about the one that Tmac is solely responsible for the 22 game winning streak? Oh wait, didn't Yao play some of that, didn't Rafer have a breakout year, didn't Landry and Brooks step up??

You mean being carried by a great defensive team while he ballhogs?

Stick a prime TMac on that team and they'd get to the Finals too, and most likely steamroll through the Leastern Conference instead of barely beating Raptors/Bucks

The results of this poll restore some of my faith in the clutchfans userbase... It should really be 100 to 0, but it's reasonable to expect that 20% of people either love Iverson and/or hate McGrady and let their emotions overpower their logic.

He was way better than Kobe in terms of talent... but health and lack of the kind of drive and determination kept him from being what he could have been.

Where did this come from? We all know MJ is better than every person that has ever donned a Rockets uniform. You really don't watch basketball do you.

Tinman likes to lay out stats that favor his argument and tends to totally ignore key facts that would work against him. You should really take all of his arguments with a grain of salt. If there is anybody that can "prove" that every player in the NBA at any other time was better than T-Mac, it would be Tinman.

fact is tmac never got an MVP, never got out of the first round despite some ridiculously sick performances. AI had sick performances and led his team to the finals (despite others saying it was all his teammates, AI was the core of that team) Tmac's inability to lead a team anywhere automatically removes him from being mentioned with AI, Kobe, MJ, LBJ (ugh), and DWade. Hell even Penny had the potential to be one of the greats... that Orlando no.1 jersey is cursed.

Mac may well be the only other player with Jordan's talent level though, but he had absolutely none of his work ethic.

Unfortunately, AI played in the leastern conference which had no Utah Jazz and no Dallas Mavericks. D-will would have embarrassed him.

As a matter of fact, you're pretty much embarrassing yourself talking about the guy who can't even play in the L anymore because everyone now knows he can't shoot straight and he hasn't learned how to run elementary sets in 10+ years of professional basketball. Doesn't know how to play defense too.

The MVP award is all hype (lol at Rose over Howard/LBJ), and all this talk about having heart is BS when AI doesn't even practice. You're telling me there's someone out there who has enough heart to die on the court but can't even put away an hour a day to work on his broken jumpshot? Please

Kobe has heart. MJ has heart. Kyle Lowry has heart. Dirk has heart. AI has just as much heart as Tmac: very little. Only difference between the two is Tmac has more talent, is taller and actually made positive contributions to society (Darfur+all those causes he donates to). Ai's probably knee deep in debt and killing himself on booze and cocaine.

AI doesn't have heart? Anyone who says that has never watched basketball and has lost complete credibility.

AI played with more heart than just about everyone.
