    Kung Fu Panda 2

Just awesome. Funny, sentimental, great animation. Loved the hand drawn sequences. Had a little more story and seriousness than the first. Voice acting was great.

    8/10

It's Kind of a Funny Story

    8/10

I really liked this movie- touches on teenage angst and other things that people can reflect on and relate to while at the same time showing something that the average person has a hard time understanding (mental issues). Definitely recommend.

I just rented IKOAFS a couple of days ago.
I thought the trailer looked good, and most of all knew it was directed by Ryan Fleck who did Half Nelson, which I loved.
That said, I didn't think this was a very good showing. It had some strong moments but overall I thought it was kind of weak. Maybe I was just in a funk that day, will have to watch again.

Also, rewatched 500 Days of Summer, which saw couple of yrs. ago in theater. Such a solid modern day Romantic Comedy, the genre RC has negative view these days..but I thought this was good.

Bridesmaids (82%) - Kristen Wiig is hilarious, and this was a great vehicle for her first starring role. It lagged a little in the 3rd act, but overall there was no shortage of laughs, and I actually liked and cared about the love story. Maybe I'll have to watch it again to be sure, but I didn't get the sense that there were any really memorable exchanges or one-liners, like The Hangover, Wedding Crashers, 40 Year Old Virgin, etc.

I guess I should also say that I had low expectations, and the movie exceeded them. 500 Days of summer wasn't bad either, I agree with your assessment on that one

Scott Pilgrim vs The World: 9/10 - I had heard the reviews about this movie but never got around to watching it. Finally pulled it up last night after having recorded it on my DVR weeks ago. I thought it was a blast. Totally not what I expected. Funny and for a comic book fan, was like watching a comic come alive. Great stuff.

just finally saw inception. I dont generally see that many new movies but everyone has been going nuts on the movie ,so had to check it out.

    I give it 6/10.

It was better than the dark knight that everyone was also going nuts on.

It was entertaining but I thought kinda gay with the whole dream within a dream. and then to go to all this trouble just to do something for dude and his business? why would people risk their lives to promote some stupid business standing? I mean if it was for a country even or some group of fanatics trying to do something it might be more believable. I dont know the story seemed empty in that respect.

More believable??? It's a movie about dreams, must suspend disbelief going into the movie...

There were a lot of aspects of Inception that were not believable, but the motive was not one of them imo. Having a heir breakup a corporate empire so another company can monopolize the market sounds very plausible.

yeah its a movie about dreams and a neat concept then they are going to do all this effort for some dudes business?

I mean do something with revenge or something with meaning not trying to promote someones business! Seems kind of empty when you have this great story, great plot potential. Its like she gets naked and then she has 3 t***. kind of a disappointment.

Leo got his crew to do this so he could return to the US/his children and no longer be wanted for murder

the motives are pretty clear in the movie, I'm not sure what you are missing

Yeah, sounds like someone just didn't comprehend what was going on. Actually understandable given the complexity of the movie...can't really get up to grab a snack or take a piss break without pausing or you could ruin the movie for yourself.

    "Smilla's Sense Of Snow"

9 out of 10. Perhaps i rank it so highly due to not knowing anything about it prior to viewing. The pace is a little slow but it features a fresh setting (for me anyway), stellar cast & characters & great story.

I may have been taking a dump, but is it not true that part of all of this is these people almost killing themselves to promote some dudes business? Or did I miss something perhaps.

Hey clutchcity you have netflix have you seen 'condorman' and 'after hours' by scorcese? also what recent movie (last 2 years) do you recommend?
