I just always go back to it didnt happen. So tough cookies to the whining baby Bull fans among us. You lost most games against the Rockets. Who says you could beat us in the Finals?

PS. Horace Grant was not on those last three Championship teams. He was replaced with Dennis Rodman and that begun a new era for the Bulls and their better teams. The teams they had before always lost to the Rockets. ALWAYS.

Let's put it another way. You take Hakeem off the rockets and they don't make the playoffs period. The bulls took the knicks to seven games without mike. That clearly shows they had better role players and with mike why they were so dominant.

    mo,
save your energy. you are arguing with someone who doesn't respect the championships.

    Laker fans respect their championships
    Spurs fans respect their championships

If a Rocket fan doesn't respect their championships, than what does that make them?

    you boy Thom said

Horace Grant is an idiot. His Magic defeated MJ and co,and then got swept by us. His argument is completely absurd.
Even if MJ hadn't retired, and if Grant had stayed in Chicago, the Rockets wouldn't have been frightened by them. I believe the 95 team would have beaten them. The addition of Drexler to the Dream was a critical piece that still hasn't gotten the credit it deserves. There was no one on the Chicago front line that could have stopped Olajuwon at his peak.

The Rockets championships were not questionable, but anyone who thinks Jordan was in basketball playing shape in '95 didn't watch him play. I don't care what the stats say, his elevation was not the same, and he even rim-checked some dunks. Only after a full off-season playing basketball again did he regain his form.

Exactly!!!!!!!. And he was also getting the ball stole from him. That's what I've been trying to tell these knuckle heads. The next year he regain his form and nobody won again until he retired.

Who cares what he thinks? This Jordan wasn't playing thing comes up all the time. Dream was every bit as dominant as Jordan had been during the two championship runs. Jordan wasn't around, so we will never know, but Wilt and Oscar weren't around for the Jordan era. The game is played on a court, not in cyberspace or ex-player's imaginations.

Which team's office is displaying the trophies for those two years?

    I rest my case.

Great! Let's tank the season because Jordan isn't playing!
How the hell did the NBA survive before MJ?? How on earth did it survive
    after he left?
There is only one person to blame for this. Michael Jordan. If he had put his team above his own ambitions, he probably could have won 8 titles in a row. But guess which route he chose.

Interviewer: Do you believe that the Rockets titles are tainted because you didn't play?
MJ: Yes, If I had played, there's no doubt it would have been 8 in a row.
    Interviewer: Why didn't you play?
MJ: Well, I kind of did....

I have no link to this interview because it never happened. But maybe if someone out there in Rocketland ever runs across his airness, see what the response is.

Per your logic, the succeeding championships were questionable again? Because he's not around, you know

He averaged right around 4 TO's per game...which is right around what he averaged his entire playoff career.

And elevation? Who the hell cares? His productivity was as good or better in the playoffs than it was the following year.

Again, he had no PF at all in the 1995 playoffs. The Magic killed them down low. Jordan did his thing, but he needed someone down low. They acquired Rodman.

Every NBA Champion before 1984, during 99-2001, or after 2003 is questionable. Michael Jordan wasn't playing those seasons either.
