I thought blowing 4 run leads was bad. Geez. Thought this one was in the bag. NOT.

Gotta keep looking to the future though. Get Lee out of here. Get Castro back. Bring up some guys. Get the #1 pick next year. Maybe ill have some hair left by the time they are good again

Putz is due to blow one. Hasn't allowed an earned run in 11 games/11 innings.

Man. I want Lee to show at least a little bit, the smallest amount of still having some power left so that we get something, anything, for him a trade even if the F'stros have to agreed to pay essentially the rest of his contract.

Missed the game but read the wrap up. I think what we are now seeing is the Myers we expected last year...a guy who will battle, give up his good amount of hits and probably 3 to 4 runs over 6 innings per start. Certainly seems like a guy that could still be a nice 4th or 5th starters on a contender just needs more quality starts.

Q seems to be okay, which is a good thing. He may not hit much but his defense is certainly a difference maker.

BAD news with a silver lining. Wandy will be the best pitcher on the trade market come July, any injury to him could be crippling to his trade value.

Will get a sneak peak at Lyles and see what the kid has. I don't expect him to be dominant but would like to see him hold his own.

Wade isn't going trade Wandy. He could have traded Myers last year and got at least two solid B prospects but he didnt make a deal. Myers had a career year and everybody knew he probably couldn't repeat that type of performance. Instead he gave Myers a 2 year deal worth 21 million and that looks like a bad contract with the way he is getting hit aroud this year.

Last year, Myers ended the season a Tier 1 Free Agent. I wanted to offer arbitration but let him sign elsewhere so we could have gotten some nice picks. But Hindsight is always 20/20

Yea was never to high on signing him off 2/3 of a good season but its not a crippling deal money wise and it's not long.

New owner with a belief in player development doesn't sound like a guy who will want to pay Wandy for being the best pitcher on a losing team. His value, hoping he is healthy, will be sky high...I say he is gone either at the deadline or offseason. With teams like NYY, Tampa, Detroit, Texas, LAA, Colorado, StL, Cincinnati and Florida all looking for SP...Wandy could start a bidding war.

I agree. I would trade Wandy because the way I look at it with his age, he is going to be on the decline and this team isn't going be to winning anything anytime soon. Bud Norris, Aneury Rodriguez, and Jordan Lyles are still young, cheap, and have upside. J.A. Happ isn't making a bunch of money yet and still under control for a few years so I don't think you have to move him. Myers is pretty much untradeable with the way he is getting hit around and contract. I wish Wade had some creativity but he just doesn’t.
